  1. Cheers! As it so happens it makes perfect sense
  2. A bit late with this. But the link below has an interview with Jim Gannon in the days before the ICT game. Anyone know what is on the pitch behind Jim Gannon? It looks like a row of chairs but that makes no sense at all. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/scotland/8267734.stm
  3. Well they can find Stewards because Motherwell FC are the customer in this case and if they are not happy with a service they can tell them. If they don't change it they get some other company to steward the games.
  4. So it was the steward's fault then. Looking for a reason to chuck someone out is disgraceful. At the start of every half the announcer shouts "Let's hear you get right behind the well". Then if anyone does it they get chucked out. Pardon my language but it's fucking terrible and is taking the atmosphere (what little there is left) out of the game. Bop is right that this is merely a guideline and not a rule. This isn't the first time this is debated and I know that the club read these board so I feel the concerns of the fans are being ignored on this one. Get a grip of this issue Motherwell or crowds are going to continue to decline because the young ones feel that they aren't allowed to "get behind the well".
  5. So the guy in Bop's case only had himself to blame then? Why?
  6. I agree with everything you have said in this post. Although in the last few seasons we taken points against the old firm at the tail end of the season and we even won at Parkhead. I just think we have nothing to fear from them. If we don't fear them then we have a chance of beating them.
  7. Both are shite and their for the taking. I think on our day and with a bit of luck we can take anyone.
  8. Good on you. I'll shite myself the day you predict a Well win
  9. For the record this is not writing Murphy off. This is barely commenting on his current performances. I also said, and would show you if I knew how to multi quote, that I liked Murphy and hoped he proved me wrong. Plus I bloody hate Real Madrid.
  10. First of all, I was not "blaming" anyone. Did you actually read my post. There was no blame to be attached to anyone. What I was doing was offering my opinion on the performance of a couple of players last night and one of them being a fringe player. IMO opinion McGarry didn't do enough to merit a place on the bench every week. I say bench because he is nowhere near good enough to get in the first 11. I thought his play didn't suit the style we have been accustomed to. I came on and offered constructive criticism of 2 players. I didn't come straight on and say they were shit nor did I blame anyone. FWIW I actually like Murphy and want him to prove me wrong. I just don't think he has done enough to merit a place in the team.
  11. A bit harsh on Forbes mate. No acids dropped though they are murder to get these days
  12. A bit harsh on Foran but I think the Well support will always be split on him. A bit harsh on the fans as well. I didn't have a stauner but thot I'd show my appreciation for what he done in a Well jersey which IMO wasn't perfect but mostly positive. What was cringeworthy about that? On Forbes your 100% spot on.
  13. Forbes for me. Thought he won everything in the middle of the park.
  14. Finally we are getting credit for our form this year. We will be ok as long as Billy Dodds predicts another Well defeat. If he predicts a Well win am gonnae greet.
  15. I agree. Richie was a great servent for us and thought it was a bad show from the fans who done it. However, I have to say alot of fans around me gave him a standing ovation and I thought more cheered than jeered. Mind you we have fans that boo our own players so booing a player of another team hardly surprises me.
  16. To be fair mate I was sitting right behind it and it wasn't a bullet but it was a looping header and I don't think he could have done anything about it.
  17. Just back the night and all I can say is we were very lacklustre. I knew McHugh was scoring first but because of these bloody Mail strikes a couldn;t afford to bet him. The boy done well he ran himself into the ground. I had the feeling he lacked a bit of confidence though as if he thought he didn't belong in the first team, which is daft because he has oodles of talent. I thought Coke was solid and Forbes won almost everything in the middle of the park. Apart from that the rest of the team were quite poor. I felt we tried to do too much with the ball when the simple ball was the right one. In saying that their keeper was quite good tonight, which begs the question if he was at Inverness how the fuck did we end up with Fraser? McGarry cameon for a cameo appearance and when you saw his first touch you realise how good the restof our team are. Didn't do enough to prove he deserves a place on the bench every week. Finally, Jamie Murphy (unless he bucks his ideas up) doesn't have what it takes to cut it in the SPL. He has had enough chances and is just not showing enough for me. Anyway we won and that's all that matters. Bring on Celtic in the quarters cause I hate the wee teams.
  18. Is that your pal making random comments again
  19. It won't be a cake walk, but they have only lost 1 of 12 competitive matches in the 1st division or against teams of similar or lower quality. They haven't came up against any team nearly as good as us. 4-1 to us tomorrow night. I sense a hat-trick for someone.
  20. He was joking daza And anyway how do you know about sniffing glue at your age ?
