We’ve got a new chairman and CEO coming in soon, they’ll have their own ideas but I would be surprised if SK’s contract is extended. We need a manager with a stronger tactical awareness to get the best out of mediocre players at our budget level. Kettlewell can’t do it, he’s too inexperienced. No idea who would take on that challenge though.

That first half was honking. Brutal. In saying that, we controlled the game but we had absolutely nothing upfront - no real surprises I suppose. Lennon Miller seemed to change the game, his composure almost rubs off on those around him, he’s a class act. Gent and Montgomery on the left was pretty exciting, with the former having his best game so far and the latter getting an assist within 2 minutes on his debut, no bad! Signs of a really handy player. We’re in the draw tomorrow and that’s all that matters in the cup.

I think we’re all agreed that Saturday v Livi is D-day. I genuinely think that changing manager at this point would be counterproductive, but defeat to Livi would be unacceptable, unthinkable even. For what it’s worth, I think this team has enough to win on Saturday, I can’t see us getting anything at Aberdeen. Don’t really know what else to say. Merry Christmas when it comes!
