  1. I hoped the wink would make it clear that I was having a laugh.. Would be interesting to see anyway
  2. The whoring out of Chrissy Cadden begins Motherwell FC ✔@MotherwellFC Good luck to @chrissycadds, one of the brightest young stars in Scottish football, and the Scotland U21s tonight. 9:30 AM - 2 Sep 2016
  3. Cant just have a squad of 18 year olds and 35 year olds. Through years of poor signings and bad contract management we have been left with a squad of kids and players approaching (or well into) their twilight years. Ainsworth and Tait are the only players in the the mid / late 20s which some consider to be peak years for players. I think its been quite clear that we've signed additional players in their early 20's to help bridge the gap and to hopefully have decent sell on value. The next batch of kids will get a chance.
  4. Poor bustard doesn't realise he only has one game to convince some he'll be a player (maybe two appearances if he comes on as a sub)
  5. The SFA do a deal where its £30 for 5 adult tickets and 20 kids tickets for under 21 games. Would be nice if Motherwell could knock up something similar for our games.
  6. A swashbuckling 2-0 victory with everyone on here praising Clay, Tait and Blythe for coming off the bench and putting in a solid 30 minutes. To be followed by a pumping at Ibrox the week after and Clay and Tait to be singled out as shite. Rinse and repeat for the rest of the season.
  7. To me the only real upset last night was Alloa beating Inverness. Hibs are Hibs and Hamilton are notoriously shite in the cups anyway
  8. If it comes to it and we're tied on points and goal difference..its then.. 1. Goals Scored 2. Away goals scored 3. Matches won 4. Away matches won 5. Drawing of lots
  9. McFadden - will be registered as a player as well http://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2016/07/26/mcfadden-appointed-assistant-manager/
  10. Based on hee-haw I reckon 3 win's would be enough no matter what. Wouldn't surprise me if a team got through on 8 points either. Suppose we'll have a better idea after another round of games on Saturday. Lets just get that win on the board tomorrow and worry about permutations next weekend.
  11. As somebody once said 'Just win baby' Oh and convert some bloody chances!
  12. Home top is a cracker without the sponsor
  13. Hopefully they've ironed them this year

  15. Playing a 4-2-4 by the look of it...
  16. If any of the lawyers or language experts on here could let me know the firm definition of soon then i'll know when to next check in on this thread.
  17. So Pearson back in January....?
  18. Have the photos on the club website been analysed for trialists etc?
  19. That the new away shirt?
  20. Surprised that all the xmas eve fixtures are not at 1pm or something. Still a chance it could get moved to Friday night or sat lunchtime for tv. Only game likely to be picked is us or Accies v Celtic...maybe both. Only two league visits from the ugly sisters? Delighted. I'm sure the lost income can partially be offset from reduced stewarding costs and people not staying away. Oh and that statement? Fuckin cringe man
  21. True. However it could throw up a situation where say we and Rangers have both won our first 3 games and it goes to the game against each other. Draw after 90 mins. Penalty shoot out to decide the group winner. Although I guess in that situation you'd likely go through as one of the best runners up. F*ck it its worth a try
  22. Good stuff. Was worried we'd throw it away a draw 2-2
  23. For me it would be Jamie MacDonald and McGovern at the top. What a pile of shite that entire article is. 3. Tomas Cerny (Partick Thistle) The keen-hiker possesses power from his legs Ok....
  24. And the next part of the gossip column highlights how important being safe can be on getting a march on Thistle etc Partick Thistle manager Alan Archibald has put his summer plans on hold after his side missed out on a top-six finish in the Scottish Premiership and will wait to make sure they avoid a relegation play-off before speaking with his out-of-contract players.
