I think the squad is marginally better, hope this new RB is a real gem. However i still think we are too light up front with an unproven striker. In think to compliment this we will bag goals from midfield. All in all ive seen every game so far and of the three league games we can say 2 draws away, 1 win at home. Promising 5pts from 3 games, but i think we may have deserved 7. I think we will be in mid table this season, if we can bring in a striker who will get us 10 goals or so + Assists i will be delighted

Glad we have a striker on board now. If hes in a Premiership teams squad he must be as good as we already have or better. I think the style we now play will suit him and he'll bang in a few goals. Unfortunately 6 month loan deal but if he impresses we might keep him until end of season. Really canny judge him until we see him play. I would prefer to have Coke, O'Brien sign with Forbes Hutcheson etc all sign as they so far have changed the game and played well. I admire Slanes talent and effort (Has he actually impacted a game) but if he doesnt want to play for us and go to Celtic to sit in the reserves for 3 years then get punted to League 1 then thats up to him at 17, he needs stability and encouragement, which Jim Gannon is giving him. I was at the game on Saturday and was delighted to see the pitch, i think the grass was quite long on the day as you could clearly see the footprints from the warm up. Al in all very impressed and a great job by the groundsmen and the team who sorted (i hope) the undersoil heating/drainage. Hope it continues to impress all season.

Basically We ALL agree that the Youth players and Coke deserve at least 3 year contracts. Can the club afford to pay them all good wages in our current climate? Outside the Big 2 our preseason preperations have been the best and our players have had a number of weeks to bond and gel together. St J will have the desire and heart on there side as first game in SPL for 7 years and at home, will always be difficult to beat. However We have a team looking to impress a new manager and some young players pushing for first team action and players looking to get noticed and win contracts. All in all we SHOULD beat St J with all respect to them. Also Killie are p1sh poor and we should beat them at FP we all know supporting the well is a roller coaster but im confident of Progress

Gannon has played 6 lost 4 won 2, albeit 2 losses agains a pedigree team. However based on pre season 5-7 will be our target going on our present form Aka Win Loose Win Loose. I think there is an aura of Arsene Wenger about Gannon, he plays youth, as he doesnt want to break the bank and he develops them. We all know Forbes and Slane have been class so far. Lets snap them up on 3 year deals and in a few years rake the rewards when Championship teams come in for them. Still im awaiting new signings we are in need of at least a striker and a defenter. Gannon a legend - not quite yet but things are shaping up to be so.

I beleive we are favourites for the first two games, i think a score draw v Saints will be a fair result as there first SPL game at home they will be up for it, Killie pi5h as usual and i expect 4 pts from first 2 games i beleive we can get 6 and probably should. Then the tough run in starts. We definately need a striker arnd another CB/RB.

I like the current loudspeaker system. No need to wast money, lets bring in a new striker.
