I personally beleive this is nonsense, Stevie is a quality player on his day and was involved in a Scotland B International recently. A step down a league cant help his chances of making the full squad with the injuries at the moment. On the other hand if Stevie is in the Huff for being benched then thats too bad, its a squad game and every player is needed to perform when asked and have 100% committment to the team when asked. I beleive Hammill is definately in JG's plans for the following season, he is an established player in the SPL and to loose him after the other 9 we have lost will be disasterous. I like Stevie, hes a great wee player but i thinkf hes better as a LAM than LB. Hope he doesnt go or if he does at least £250K and a replacement will need to be brought in ASAP. You cant play youngsters in every position, that would see us relegated.

1.What position in the SPL will we finish ? I hope 5th 2.How far will we get in the Scottish Cup?4th round 3.How far will we get in the Co-op Cup? Final v Celtic and win 1 v nil 4.How far will we get in the Europa League (if we beat Steaua Bucharest)? I beleive we can get to thr group stage if we get a favourable playoff opponent. If we go out to Steaua then 3rd qualifying round. Lets hope its a season of Progression, excitement and of course building a team to compete the following year. Lets get behind the team for the whole season, its easy just now after an exciting pre-season on the wave of a 8 v 1 humping. Give the lads a chance and if we need to get rid of dead wood then let it be so i.e. Lasley

For as long as i care to remember and im now the old age of 24, Fir Park Pitch has been a riot. If the club are spending money to have a lovely playable pitch for the 2009/10 Season let it be for the first home game. I would love the pitch to be used vs Steaua or Wigan BUT, i dont mind the Airdrie Stadium, its actually nice and the pitch looks fine. (Apart from the travel to Airdrie NIGHTMARE) I would rather have a great pitch all season and the grass roots to be knitted together with as much time as possible to allow this..

Ruddy, no-one has seen him play and everyone starts with him. I am Frasers BIGGEST Critic but i dont know if i would play ruddy infornt of him, if i seen Ruddy at training and he looked impressive i obviously will start him ahead of Fraser anyway. This will be a tough game, away leg first against a team who play in Europes top competitions year in year out against the very best. I wholeheartedly beleive we have a better chance now with the confidence over the last month. BUT the team is traveling to a very atmospheric ground where we will again have to play out best away and hope not to loose. I beleive we can score as proved Thursday but i will take anything from a 1 nil defetet to a 1 v1 draw or dare i say a 1 nil win. Remember we have a home leg at Fir Park to come (I will miss due to a family wedding) so basically im saying we can progress. Woooo!

Personally liked Mark McGhee, he turned this club around from Malpas "i dont have a clue". Motherwell played amazing football in the first season and signed some "quality players" Yes i do mean Hughes an Malcolm etc. Everyone knows we are a stepping stone McFadden, McCormack, Quinn, Clarkson. What i dont like is attitudes, G.Smith was wanting to leave and made it obvious, its a shame, but it happens, he had gread performances, i would love us to keep players and challenge for the title. Any way McGhees second season was frustrating, we were poor for half a season and cost us top 6 and when we were pumped out both cups the season kind of frittered away. I am annoyed McLean left, im annoyed at HIM and McGhee but the last 3 months McGhee couldnt care less. He thought he was going to be the celtic manager. Anyway, we now have a new manager whos lettign the youth get there chance, like the McFaddens, Clarksons etc. If we can singn these boys on long term contracts and in a year or two we will be a top club challenging for domestic honours. Ive been impressed with the WINS so far and Gannon wants the team to work the full 90 as we saw on Thursday. Good luck Gannon and I wish you all the best.

Aww man awesome photies, I mind being in the area before they built the cooper stand. Man i must have been about 4 or 5 and me n ma mate just ran about the stairs and never actually watched the game, then i was in the claret and amber club and got in for £2.50 Good times.

I think someone should start a petition to BBC to complain regards not showing Motherwell and Falkirks away games, i mean we dont really care about Falkirk but i would like to see the Well on a decent chanel instead of all rickity boo on ma naff lappy. (And no im not starting a petition)

I was very impressed with the game and deserved more. Although we could have conceded more. Fraser was shocking, Craigan wasnt too hot either and i would criticise these two in particular for the goal. I would have liked to see the Polish keeper play the second half as we were 6 nil up. Hes been with us 1 year and a year to go and not had game time. I saw him warm up at HT and i was rather impressed, he looked confident and wanted to play. Anyone agree? How well did the young lads play last night. Wooo!

East stand was near full vs Llanelli (Well i think it was main stand peeps could let you know better) Got my ticket early so im in the main. Expect more to be there tonight. Wooo! Moan the Well!!!!!
