WTF was the short corner shit all about BTW!!? Of the three corners we won McDonald took two short which resulted in the ball ending up at the half way line only for Lasley to over hit a long diagonal, and for the second McDonald was caught offside when the ball was laid back to him as Celtic had no one on the post or line. The only decent corner we had was from a direct Ainsworth cross and we nearly scored from the resulting header. Their centre halfs were having a mare, especially Toure. Why not throw the ball in and ask the question? Stuff like this really annoys me about us.

Here's hoping they at least give it a lick of paint and revert to proper lettering as apposed to using those ghastly banners they replaced them with on the Cooper and O'Donnell stands, which IMO look cheap and tacky in the extreme.

Just watched the highlights. Looked like a nothing game until we gifted them the first goal. Acres of time and space to put in a cross followed by the all too familiar sight of mcmanus making an absolute cnut of the clearance. Second goal a missed header at the near post led to a stramash toe poked home. Can u blame samson for not coming out. I'd say ud expect the ball to be cleared near post first imo. Third goal games done two defenders make a half hearted attempt at closing down and as always the ball flys through them and in at the near post. Samson should be keeping it out though as he gets down to it but by that time who gives a damn. It's only a third goal eh at least it wasn't 7.

The more times I see it the more I'm convinced McManus is to blame, which is what I thought at the time. He's literally a yard away from the ball at one point then turns away. At the very minimum he should be positioning himself between the ball and Dembele but he was probably too bust patting himself on the back for it only being one nil at the time.

McManus was far too casual there. If he though Samson was coming to collect he should still have put himself between Dembele and the ball.

I think Les has moved the goalpost because the expected Society membership hasn't been reached with one of the main reasons being the perception that he'd bail us out if anything should happen. By handing over the club sooner it couldn't be clearer that the ball is now in our court.The problem is the Society is devoid of any momentum for the various reasons that have been discussed on depth on this thread. In my opinion it will now take the real, and I mean real, threat of an imminent insolvency event to reinvigorate interest.

Correct, yet we only made one substitution. Marvin was brushed off the ball with even more ease than usual at the end and Mcdonald's tired pass led to the goal.

From the highlights Samson certainly sold the winner but there were a couple of attempted "tackles" in the lead up to the goal that were nothing short of pathetic.

I've mentioned this before on here but the right sponsors logo in the correct colour can actually make a shirt. Take the bukta example a few years back which was totally claret and amber. The jaxx logo all in white imo provided a really nice contrast and without it (ie in nancy) it looked like something was missing. Sometimes it just works.

Like them both, particularly without the sponsor. Previous retail kits were sold without the Castle Water logo on the back and Motorpoint logo on the shorts so I would imagine this is probably half way between a full sponsorship package and the previous deal.

I'm not quite sure where I stand on this issue yet, I can see both sides. But lets not pretend that Rangers are simply being treated the same as any other team.
