At the time I made that comment no I hadn't, it was just the vine footage I saw and it looked like a worldy in off the bar. Now I've seen the highlights including the footage you mention it does appear that Dan should have done better. You could also argue he should have saved the pen. But lets just ignore the several saves he made in both legs to even keen us in the tie shall we. On another note, I would place the blame for our exit more at the feet our our captain fantastic and the other elder statesmen in the camp rather than anyone else, including the manager. edit to add (and the goalie for that matter)

Really!? That's what you got from the board statement? Sadly, in terms of off the field performance we are one of the clubs who has suffered the most as a result of Rangers demise. It might not be football armageddon but it's been pretty close to a financial disaster for us. Our success on the pitch has only masked that and the inevitable season McCall doesn't perform miracles gives me the fear. Personally I think that statement spells the beginning of the end of the Well Society. We just don't have the fan base to make it work. I am hoping that the other forms of investment being hinted at are already being put in place because there is no way the society will bring in the extra half a million or so needed to meet that target. There are just not enough fans who can afford to gift the club money. Hopefully an improving economy will see more interest in investment from the local business community. That's the only way I can see us raising the money we need to survive long term.

Just watched the highlights via proxy on youtube and Brines should never ref a match again for giving that pen. It clearly comes of Micks head ffs and was obviously a guess on his part after the shouts from the crowd! No wonder McCall was fuming. Some absolute shocking defending right enough, and Saints looked good value for a least a point with Gunner making a few good saves. Looked like if he just stuck out a leg he could have saved the pen and the winner went on from a very tight angle right enough but from the highlights he kept us in it. As soon as we conceded just before half time I though here we go again!

Compare the policing and stewarding in the south stand last night to the policing and stewarding of our fans at the St Mirren game a few months back and it's obvious they are a bunch of useless bastards. When they are really needed they are nowhere to be seen. Me and my mate were unfortunate to be on one of the trains from Glasgow with the manks and as has been said before the atmosphere was poisonous. It just goes to remind everyone that they cannot be trusted to behave. Give them an inch and they will take a mile. I'm pretty sure they won't be involved in anymore Friday night games after last night.

I thought it was strange that on the TV you couldn't see any of the stairwells in the South Stand. It looked like complete mayhem in there. And Gary MacAllister even had the cheek to praise the cunts more than once!
