  1. Indeed. McCall obviously has plenty of faith that he can recover fully from his injury as well.
  2. I always thought Cummins was decent. He always did a job when called upon, and he was called upon a lot last season. 27 times he played in fact, and I thought he was unlucky not to have played more. His loan at Dundee didn't seem to go too well so who knows. I won't be too disappointed if he leaves or stays. Oh, and am I the only one that's still a bit hopeful of keeping hold of Hutchy?
  3. I feel the same. All friendlies are good for is a piss up somewhere, but we've got the Europa League for that
  4. I think this translates to "see what they dafties are saying on SteelmenOnline and get them telt".
  5. Aye, I was fairly sure that Vigurs and Moore played about 8 one-two's with each other during the build up.
  6. I just had a wee look online myself there. Apparently he's a 17 year old defender who's been capped by Belgium a few times at youth levels. He'd maybe be a signing for the under 20s as opposed to the first team.
  7. Reid's goal was the ugliest, yet the most beautiful, goal that's ever been scored. I've watched it an obscene number of times on YouTube.
  8. I think Williams is better than anyone we've got but we'll not be able sign him now. Everyone else is terrible.
  9. That is bonkers. Stoke earned over £10 million per game
  10. I don't know if our 'link' with Martinez is a good one. I don't think he likes us (or Scottish football) very much if I remember correctly.
  11. Agree with the majority of that. I'd be a bit surprised if we saw more than 3 players leave (and/or join) this summer, which could be unprecedented! The only players that I'm worried about leaving are Ainsworth and Hutch, but I'm still quietly confident that we can hang onto them. One of either Hollis or Nielsen will be shown the door, hopefully Nielsen but probably Hollis. The fact that Moore will be out for a while means that we might see McHugh back. Wouldn't be surprised if either him or Erwin are sent out on loan though. Optimistic thinking I know, but with that, there's a chance that we might only be in the hunt for a first choice keeper. We're in such a much stronger position than last year it's crazy.
  12. Great news! I also noted from the snippet of the interview that the interviewer said that he'll "absolutely not be the last" to sign a new contract.
  13. Can we add 'we have a terrible post-split record' to that list as well
  14. I wish we won every week with a dodgy goal. It's so much more enjoyable!
  15. Aye, Pittodrie is where the real pitch invasion will be happening
  16. It was 100% a pen. Daft/Lazy/Clumsy challenge on Stokes who was running away from goal. Would we have been awarded it? I fucking hope so! Also, I actually think Stokes did mean that as a shot for his goal. If it had been anyone else I would've said no, but he's scored similarly audacious goals in the past. Besides, it was an absolutely woeful cross if not
  17. I was at the game and I do remember there being a wee bit of pushing and shoving at the corner flag. Can't remember If the ref decided to produce cards or not. Hope that clears it up
  18. I'm nervous for that Aberdeen game on the last day already!. Pity it's not going to be Saturday 3pm. We'll take a decent crowd but it could've been massive
  19. McManus for me. The big man was as commanding as ever, putting in some great blocks. Inverness were limited to a couple of long shots (one of which went in) and a couple of easily dealt with crosses.
  20. Hardly a classic of a game but I thought we played ok. I managed to miss Anier's goal while going for a slash, gutted. In the 43 mins I saw of the first half not a lot really happened tbh. Not too much was really happening in the 2nd half either, till one of their players cracked a thunderbolt off the post. I thought it was going in off it but thankfully it bounced wide and we were safe (for a while). ICT were lucky to get the equaliser in my mind. Although he's just a wee boy and does get pushed off the ball far too easily, I really thought wee Moore was fouled just before their goal. Gunnar should've done better for it but it was the ref I was screaming at when it went in. Our winner was a belter. I thought Moore and Vigurs had both played one too many passes with each other, but they each played their balls perfectly, and it was the coolest of finishes from our most talented player (sincerely) that won it for us. Outside of the foot past Esson into the bottom corner. Vigurs was loving it, we were loving it, And the Caley fans were absolutely seething at their ex player. Glorious!
  21. I'm assuming you were meaning to post in the ICT match thread rather the Kilmarnock one? I don't think it is on the telly, naw.
