  1. As far as Van Veen is concerned, surely we have some successful business sponsor who could bankroll at least a loan agreement to the end of the year for him. We've done that kind of thing before, Van Veen could promote the sponsors business in return. Everybody benefits.
  2. Gave it to Kelly. Nice to see him come of his line and pick up balls outside the six yard box.
  3. Even half as productive is miles better than the shite were having to watch with Blair and Wilkinson. Maybe we could sell the two of them together, and make enough to pay for Kevin's flight back here. Or am I being over optimistic ?
  4. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think Will;kinson is a worse player than Bair!
  5. Please explain to me how you ban an individual who is part of that group, but decided he is going to a game but not under that banner, He'll still get in and create whatever damage he wants. Celtic are pandering to the media, but know if these morons want to get in, they will.
  6. Let's be honest here guys. If we had a choice between Theo Bair or bring back Louis Moult. There is surely only one reply, and it ain't Theo.
  7. They should get used to sitting in the stand beside me.
  8. I think I would have taken Moult back rather than this guy from St Johnstone. I hope he proves us wrong, but I don't know how.
  9. Fine, I don't care what they think either, but the problem being, they come to Fir Park and what will they do to the seating etc in that stand. We just open a can of worms by naively choosing that strip and giving these idiots something to moan about. I agree its only a football strip to us, but not to them, going by some of the comments I've seen on social media.
  10. That's what I call an away strip, not the horrible one we have. We have certainly left ourselves open to the bigots in our west of Scotland society. Imagine going to Ceptic and wearing our away strip. The Green brigade will have a field day. Right up their street to peddle their intolerance and hatred. A sad day indeed.
  11. He had the contract for a while, then actually signed it after the situation with covid had changed, hoping the club would just rubber stamp it. But they couldn't for the reasons given regards the uncertainty around the situation. So I for one have no sympathy for him.
  12. Really pleased with the strip.
  13. The manager said it would have to be "life changing money" to get him. What's life changing about 500k, nothing. Surely have to be more than that, if not we should have kept him. Whose going to get us 29 goals next season?
  14. The problem was Hammy wouldn't change from his 4 at the back system, which was not working. Perhaps if he had, he might still be in a job, not sitting in the house.
  15. A striker who can score 29 goals a season is worth a lot more than a million pounds. If as is reported teams like Wolves are interested in him. One million pounds is pocket money to teams like that. I'd be asking at least 4 million to them.
  16. I'm very much a traditionalist. Stick with the Claret Hoop. You very rarely see Ceptic change from their normal home strip of stripes. Why we need to go with the terrible strip we had this year I don't know. Only my opinion of course.
  17. Think we were fortunate that Slattery was suspended. Meant we didn't have the Slattery, Goss, Spittal midfield which doesn't seem to work.
  18. Marvin Johnson versus Devante Cole tonight. Barnsley v Sheffield Wednesday.
  19. Thought Liam Kelly was extremely poor today. Not once did he play the ball out to feet. It was a hump up the park all game, and half of them he couldn't even keep in the park. Just giving the ball back to Rangers all game.
  20. I'm with Yoda here. When I go tonight, I sincerely hope I don't see the same three names in the midfield. That will put me on a downer right away. I hope Stevie can see what most of the support can see. Slattery was St Mirren's best player, he kept passing to their players. Goss doesn't track back to help the defence, and can't tackle anyway. Spittal runs about, but he takes too long to make decisions. So overall a not too functional midfield. We need another Alan Campbell in midfield, who will get in about the opposition and break up their play. I know it doesn't sound like it but I am a pretty positive person normally, and sincerely hope the new faces bring an upturn in our fortunes.
  21. And some of them are not with us because of Alexander.
