  1. Gutted to miss that through illness today. Sounds like we played well and it's also good to hear that we dominated the middle of the park. I've been highly critical of late perhaps knee jerk in nature but credit where it's due
  2. I've been defensive of McManus in the past, and still believe some of the criticism directed towards him is over the top, but, that was a performance on Wednesday so bad that it reminded me of the days when Kevin Christie was providing Saturday 'entertainment'
  3. Like it or loath it - it's the only option on the table
  4. Especially so since McFadden is unqualified and has virtually no coaching or training experience
  5. The point I'm trying to make is that you don't have any left footed players on the left side, then you play narrow on that side and with width on the right hand side where it's a more natural fit
  6. Both Maclean and McMillan are right footed but McGhee inexplicably had both playing on the left touchline together for long spells in the second half
  7. Again hard to disagree with that. We can't legislate for injuries but we have control over player recruitment, and there's no doubt that's been a disaster
  8. It's hard to disagree with that. However why then waste a wage on Lucas if he's no better than clay or Lasley. A replacement for Pearson should also have been a priority.
  9. It was evident from one of the first league games they played together that a clay Lasley centre midfield was not competitive at this level
  10. We don't expect quality - we do however expect a team capable of competing with Inverness who, if you aren't aware, have less resources than us.
  11. McGhee has an unbelievably shite squad but he's signed half of the dross. Lasley hammell McFadden and McManus getting new deals should have been a sacking offence. Added to overloading the squad with shite defensive midfielders to the detriment of pace and width. Clay and Lasley wouldn't be a centre midfield pairing for a mid championship team. We have major problems all over the park! And don't get me started on spending some of johnsons money on bowman. Christ fucking almighty
  12. That team has relegation written all over it. No pace no width no creativity. Every part of our team is brutal
  13. For those that have not been going to games lately - don't rush back. It's not football we are playing
  14. There are always clamours to include youth players. For the last couple of years many of posters on here have suggested Thomas, watt and cadden are all worthy of inclusion in the first team based on their performances for the u20s. However, the difference in levels from u20s to first team is huge. Cadden granted has managed to bridge the gap but the other two will struggle in my honest opinion as will the others at this current moment in time. Indeed watt is struggling to get much game time for Stranraer in the third tier. Craigan and McGhee are much better placed to judge on whether they are ready or not. I'm happy to trust their judgement.
  15. Very much so on both counts. Pearson does everything better than clay. That's not clays fault though. It would also appear that henaghan can pass a ball better than any of our midfielders
  16. We looked exactly what we are last night - a team of old men lacking pace width and creativity. Lasley and clay must be the worst centre midfield combination in the league. McDonald moult and bowman are not a good fit as a front three despite the Hamilton game and the rest of the team are not very good
  17. What about the Bucharest 126?
  18. Name a hospitality suite after them, maybe go as far as a stadium rebranding
