We need to proceed with caution with cadden. He's a wing back to trade and only in the last year has adapted to play midfield so I've no idea why people are saying he's ready to step in to replace Pearson. He played wide right when on loan at Albion rovers too. He has good energy but in my opinion he would benefit with another season on loan this time in championship or league one. If we were to utilise one of our youth in centre midfield for me it would be the one with the most experience of playing there and that would be leitch
Ha ha forgot about that. That was probably more to do with keeping him as far away from our own box to avoid giving away a 4th penalty in the tie. He should have charged with match fixing
That's where he should be playing - it was comical watching him trying to play box to box under McCall last season. But if I'm being greedy I would be looking for someone more mobile and someone better in possession of the ball to play the holding role. Pearson could easily play there too.
When you consider Aberdeen finished comfortably 2nd in our division with a team largely made up of league 1 and championship rejects I think Preston are better than mid spfl premier. Inverness have a team virtually made up with conference players ffs
Mcdonald is a very good signing. His desire to win was there for all to see last season and wasn't upset to let others know when they were doing wrong. Wouldn't be surprised to see him captaining the side some games this season.
All we need now is a capable goalkeeper and a midfielder to play alongside Pearson
It would be a strange signing. Samson would not be on the new coach radar, nor would the coach have worked with first team goalies of the standard of twardzik or Samson before. Unless it is seen as some form of coaching challenge
