  1. We are worse than we were under Alexander. Absolute shite
  2. Alexander signed 2 players. Hammell has signed five (accepting that one was likely lined up by his predecessor). What have we got in return? 2 permacrocks who even the most optimistic of fans knew were beyond a mild risk at the time of signing. The harsh reality is despite hammell signing 3 forward thinking players we still have Connor fucking shields and Morris pulling on a shirt on match days. That’s not progress.
  3. Mcginn was one of our least shit along with Penney
  4. Hammell had over a month to improve our starting 11 and failed miserably
  5. Hammell gamble of signing two injury prone forwards looks like a massive fail at this moment in time. Here we are in October and josh Morris starts. That’s not progress
  6. My favourite well forward of all time. He had a touch and awareness barely seen at our club in my lifetime. Very much the focal point of a team that played terrific football with no end of heart too (we were fortunate to have him and cooper not far apart). Still haunted by his miss in Dortmund however when we were more than a match in that game. Doubt we will ever see or say that again.
  7. Not a fan of the moult signing if it comes to fruition tbh.
  8. Sol for me too his best game in months
  9. 35 shots on goal in 2 games, more of that please stevie. We are going to concede a shit goal of goals but more than capable of outgunning the opposition based on the last couple of games.
  10. Hammell will absolutely get my support. But having a knowledge of youth players and introducing them to the team doesn’t guarantee us a stay in the top flight next season. (Refer back to terry butcher’s days) I guess nothing guarantees this but I’d be far more comfortable with an experienced manager at the helm.
  11. The fitness levels are nothing short of disgraceful. To go in to a competitive environment that under cooked is shameful. It’s worse than last seasons league cup carry on and I didn’t think that could be trumped
  12. Edit to add - we can’t continue this Barry maguire anchoring the midfield experiment. Things are that bad at the back I would have him at centre half
  13. We tried to play football today with an extremely limited squad (thanks graham!)but ultimately we came away with 0 points and that’s unacceptable.
  14. We are 3 weeks behind them in fitness, no manager and at least 4 players light. 3 points are gratefully received
  15. It was toxic on Thursday night. But justifiable in my opinion
  16. Lamie mcginn and Kelly the only ones with pass marks. Tierney was decent enough when he came on but the rest utter garbage
  17. We were massively underprepared for tonight’s game. The manager may slaver that we have had 4 or so bounce games but that’s still no good. He has also said that we need more quality up top but hinted we have enough to deal with Sligo. Absolute bollocks. Shields and efford are shite. Van Vern was terrible too and miles off the pace. the irony is that if we had the foresight and ambition to invest in a half decent front man tonight (prize money) would probably have paid for his annual wage. I get that we were desperately poor all over the park but we were especially light up front. We could also be doing with a plan B for when Plan A fails (which is happening far too often)
  18. Only watched the 2nd half but the Welsh team were comically bad. Sligo were sharp quick and could cause us some problems if as expected they finish off the job next week
  19. The very one! long throw from main stand side at cooper goals unless my memory is playing tricks on me
  20. Tommy coyne I seem to recall scoring the winner to put Celtic out the cup at fir park ross McCormick inspired performance at Tynecastle in cup shortly after Phil’s passing . Two good cup memories from yesteryear
