No point in explaining the obvious to steelboy if it does not fit his narrative it's ignored. -
Motherwell v Rangers League Cup Semi final Nov 2/3

I agree, bringing on Robinson and Tavares was a waste of time both of them are brutal, Watt and Ebiye should have been on as they pose more of a threat. Losing a goal right after half time was the killer, our confidence just went and it gave Rangers a boost they did not deserve, we then got deeper and deeper sitting back waiting for the inevitable winner from Rangers. I am hoping SK sees what everyone else does that our midfield is grim, at least 2 required in the January window and a goal scorer would be nice as well. -

Just back in, big chance for a final missed today, we made them look good. 1-0 in front after a great Halliday goal at half time and we came out and offered feck all 2nd half, no goal threat at all, instead of getting at them and pressing high we sat back and let them dictate the game, when they scored their 1st goal it was only going to end one way. That said it saves the pain of another pumping by Celtic in the final. -
Points are always welcome, but its game 10 of a 38 game season, it's not that important.
-
I'm giving the club the benefit of the doubt and assuming they are not selling 5,500 tickets for a 5,000 capacity stand so yes I do. The green uglies have previous for it, so I suspect another emergency exit or two has been forced open, and nothing done to prevent it.
-
You don't need attendance data ffs, Roy Orbiston could have seen that the stand was overcrowded, but strangely the stewards etc did not. Every stairway especially on the bottom tier was rammed, as were the exit passages, it's an accident waiting to happen and the club seem to be doing feck all to prevent it, that's two Celtic games in a row now that this has happened.
-
Yes that's right, not sure if it happened on Sunday but it did the last time the uglies were at Fir park. Every stairway and exit was full of standing fans on Sunday, they were even standing on the steelwork at the back of the top tier, so the stand was well above capacity. What annoys me though is the stewards and police stood and watched this happening and did feck all, so much for ensuring the safety of supporters, what's the point of them being there. The club are well aware of what's happening but are doing nothing to sort it out, can you imagine the uproar if it was well fans storming the gates at parkhead. The football authorities in Scotland have always pandered to the green and blue uglies, the other clubs need to start asking why and get it sorted out

Will Watt be eligible to play, is he not just on loan from Dundee United or did we sign him? For me our best front pairing would be Stama and Ebiye, I'd also be starting Maswanhise and Kaleta if fit to give us some pace down the wings.
-
Spot on, the simple fact re yesterday was we never took the chances we had and were beaten by a team light years better than ours. Our season will be judged on the results against the other 9 teams not the ugly sisters.
-
Robinson is brutal offers feck all and should be nowhere near the team, For me Stama and Ebiye are our most likely front pairing to score.
-
Aberdeen won tonight to go 3 clear at the top, the green uglies will be up for it tomorrow I have the fear for this one, i hope I'm wrong.
-
I have a physical card and I get the same when I check my account, ie no digital passes I suspect this option may only apply to those ST holders who opted for the digital / mobile option this year ie your ST is held on your phone and you have no card.

Must have been a bigger incident than people thought, another 5 people arrested today, no clue as to what team if any they supported. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cn0de985llqo

Spittal scoring for Hearts tonight in the euro conference league, seems to be getting in among the goals in recent weeks.
-
Its not doubling up at the turnstiles its fans once inside the ground rushing the stewards and, opening the fire escape doors and letting hundreds of their pals in for free. The police and stewards knew the south stand was overcrowded before the game started but as usual they stood back and did feck all about it, if they are not going to intervene there is no point in them being there.
-
We should take the financial hit and refuse to send them tickets, that will save all of the subsequent seat / Stadium damage, the stewards won't be harassed and the rest of us will enjoy the game in a much more pleasant atmosphere. It won't happen but it would be a nice change.

A stomach bug apparently, obviously had to get to the toilet quickly.
-
As usual against Celtic, I'm hoping for a win or Draw, but expecting the inevitable defeat. Our current midfield gives me the fear though so I see another 90 mins of no decent service to front players and the defence resorting to punting endless high balls forward hoping for the best. Our best hope of a goal could be Balmer with his long throws.
-
A bit like you then in your constant criticism of him. Strangely though when we are winning and playing well it's radio silence, and lo and behold a bad result yesterday and it's SK's fault again.
-
Offered feck all today, and got what we deserved nothing, Dundee were just as bad,got the nose in front and we never threatened them. Robinson needs dropped, he's pish, but our alleged front line were all equally as bad, Watt and Ebiye were anonymous. Big improvements needed to get back on track.
-
I don't think the term "deliberate " is relevant theses days, VAR sees an incident as a handball and then decides does it merit a sanction, ie penalty or free kick etc. Most handballs penalised will result in a yellow card or yellow card plus penalty and a few like Caseys incident that denied a certain goal will be a red card and penalty. It's all fairly straightforward in the two examples mentioned, Refs and VAR got it right for a change.
-
Casey handling the ball stopped a certain goal, hence the red card, souttar handling the ball def pen but given the position of the keeper he would in all probability have saved it if souttar had not handled it. For me the refs and VAR got these two decisions 100% correct.

Ox is a big upgrade on Kelly now that we've seen what he can do, which makes it even more annoying that SK stuck with Kelly all of last season, considering the number of points he cost us.
-
Regular 1st pick players like casey will always miss games for whatever reason injury, suspension etc. So it's up to the player who comes in to cover to show that they should be the 1st pick and Balmer made a case for that on Saturday so he probably deserves a run in the team to show he's up to it. It's a good position for a manager to be in to have a squad with cover for most positions.
