Potential MOTM according to the BBC match report, "assurred at the back" was the phrase used. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51955716

He's a tosser should be nowhere near the team, Clarke needs to grow a set and tell him to GTF, there are plenty of players who would be happy to take his place.
-
When did Scotland start this " you have to be playing well to get an international start" initiative, is this something new from the SFA?
-
Brechin must spend a lot cutting the hedge thats down one side of the park, garden maintenance is expensive.
-
He has been offered a new and presumably enhanced contract, so he may sign that, and the club would in the same position we were with Turnbull, so it could be a win win for the club if he signs on again.

Every football fan in Scotland apart from those who follow Rangers knows its the truth, it always has been. The ugly sisters, Rangers in particular get more than their fair share of penalties, read the link below. But the SFA / SPFL are shit scared of upsetting them so any criticism however trivial is punished. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.glasgowtimes.co.uk/sport/18518343.amp/

surprised it took them this long to announce it, as much as he was only saying, what everybody feels, the comments were ill advised for somebody representing the club.

I see killie have forfeited the league Cup game against Falkirk, still amazes me how the rules for league and Cup are different for the same situation, ie a team unable and / or unwilling to fulfil a fixture.
-
My 1st ever game at Fir Park, my uncle lifted me over the turnstyles and sent me down the front of the Knowetop Ave terracing, saw nothing , but that was me hooked. I actually met Martin Peters at White Hart Lane about 20 years ago as we had hospitality for a game, and reminded him of the score that night, he remembered the game, saying they did not expect to lose. Hard to believe its nearly 50 years ago in a few weeks, makes me feel old.

Apparently there is no provision in the SPFL rules to award the points to the opponents if a team is unable to play a match, which is very strange given its covered for Cup matches. But the SPFL do have the power to bring the team before a disciplinary tribunal and if found to be in breach of the rules , then various sanctions are open to them including declaring the match forfeited and awarding the points, you honestly could not make this nonsense up.
-
Not so sure, as we saw from the Aberdeen and Celtic incidents the Scottish Gov has football on a yellow card, so if the Killie players did break the rules, then the SPFL may decide to take strong action, in the hope that it prevents the Gov getting involved again, it will be interesting to see how it pans out.

Hold the bus it seems sanctions including forfeiting the game are a possibility according to SPFL. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54402157

The Clinical advice given is not something the SPFL enquiry needs to worry about, all they need to focus on is finding out how the players got infected in the 1st place, and did they break any current rules in doing so. There are rumours of alleged poker nights, etc so if this is the case and they broke Current rules resulting in their club being unable to fulfill the fixture, then its a no brainer Killie should forfeit the game. But given the history of the SPFL, they will discuss it for a while then do feck all.

We have been missing out the midfield in games since last Christmas, punting the ball upfield, so playing 5-0-5 is natural to us
-
If you are awarded a tie 3-0, you have earned it , as you have turned up to the game with a team ready to play, as per the rules. We have no idea yet how the Killie players got infected but hypothetically say 1 or all 6 of them broke the current rules , ie out getting mad with it, they are then told to isolate and as a result they are then unable to fulfil their fixture, so by the rules the other team should be awarded the tie. The results of the SPFL enquiry will make interesting reading
-
Aye right... the SPFL telling Celtic they are forfeiting points Best laugh today
-
I don't see why not especially if you read the full statement on the BBC web site It remains unclear what will happen to Kilmarnock's next two figures - away to Falkirk and at home to Dunfermline in the Scottish League Cup - which fall within the self-isolation period. If they are unable or unwilling to field a team in those games, they would forfeit the match 3-0. unable or unwilling are the key phrases, if thats the case in the League Cup, why should it be different in the premiership?
-
Where did you see that, so are the UEFA guidelines being ignored or have another 4 or 5 Killie players suddenly injured themselves to take the available player below the 13
-
That set up is a disgrace, if a team qualifies for the CL, they should play in that till they are eliminated, all this, champions path and dropping into the EL is feckin nonsense, if you are out you should be out, so Dundalk were beaten in the CL qualifiers as were Celtic, so both should be out with no further European involvement this season. Its even applied after the CL group stages ffs, a UEFA carve up to pander to the top teams and TV companies. If that nonsense stopped there would be more places available for the EL, oh and while I am on my rant the CL should be for champions only or change the name.
-
As a well fan you should learn very early on that betting on us for anything other than the number of penalties we concede, is not to be recommended , hope it comes up though.
-
Cant see the game going ahead now
-
Bigger result than most folk realised, we are already going to get 2 CL spots for the 21-22 season, so Rangers winning tonight and both ugly sisters progressing means Scotland can overtake turkey in the rankings and if that happens iit could mean automatic CL group stage entry for Scottish Premiership winners from 22- 23 season i think
-
Be'er sheeva just beaten pilsen1-0, think that's their 3rd group stages qualification in last 5 years, put a bit of perspective on what we were up against, even before we helped them to victory
-
What a crock of shite comparing managerial / coaching ability to playing ability, Klopp, Ferguson, Shankly, mouhrinuo, some of the best managers in the world were average at best players. Some top class players can make great managers, but its a whole different skill set to coach a team, in terms of SR his record in his time at Fir Park is decent, cup finals, European football, with the resources at his disposal. Where do you honestly think Motherwell should be in the league, what is your expectation of success over 38 games?
-
For me i think Longs attitude is suspect , he never seems fully committed to games this season, no doubt he is a decent player but I don't think we are getting the full benefit just now.
