  1. Does anybody really give a toss what Vigurs did or did not do,he is no longer a motherwell player so i dont. Lets welcome him back to Fir park by pumping ICT tomorrow.
  2. Not a sycophant and I never dribble my porridge I like it too much just a footie fan who has been watching the well for a long time the highs and lows. A all that time I have never had any problems with police, stewards, felt the need to bring a flare or smoke bomb/pellet to set off at a game, turn a football match into a political demo, etc, etc.
  3. In that case then there is no point in any of them coming on here always complaining about stewarding, or policing or lack of support for the solidarity demos with the green brigade etc. Just do what you want I am sure after a few more arrests etc the novelty will wear off
  4. How will you cope during the summer when it dawns on you that we were not relegated or involved in the playoffs..do you have counselling organised or maybe some positive thinking lessons booked?
  5. As i said defensive errors were made by a few in the lead up to the goal but if Ainsworth had tracked his man and tackled properly Lawless would not have scored. Also i dont think for a minute that McGhee guessed that Ainsworth would go all girly and start greetin, he should have manned up in the interview, shit happens in games and got on with it instead of greetin.
  6. I watched the highlights and i am sorry but if Ainsworth had been a bit more forceful with his tackle and launched the ball into the stand then they would not have scored. Yes there were defensive error in the lead up play but Ainsworth was ball watching never got on terms with Lawless and stuck a leg in hoping for the best when if he had been tracking properly he might have made a decent tackle. So yes i think he was at fault for the goal and i have no problems about McGhee naming and shaming him, if it drives him on to try harder next game then it was worth it.
  7. Can we drop all this ex player chat vigurs, lawless etc and concentrate on the players who are at the club now. Personally i dont give a feck about what a player does or how he plays after he leaves the club. We have enough issues with our own players to worry about.
  8. wring your pants out ffs there are 8 points between St Johnstone in 5th and Kille in 11th. We have another 42 to play for so hardly a feckin crisis, disaster or must not lose or any other doom and gloom cliche you are fond of.
  9. Thats 5 points we have feckin lost in injury time or the last minutes of games in recent weeks its doing my head in now. We need to get our act together soon its far too tight at the bottom 6 points from 6th to 11th so every point is vital to avoid 11th place.
  10. Every team in the country has signed at least 1 of them
  11. Not a big fan of this last minute transfer deadline day deals, if the club knows who they want why not get in early and get the business done.
  12. If we start to push out and defend further up the park when trying to see a game out then we wont give the opposition players the chance to look for a penalty. The standard of referees in scotland is shocking so why give them a decision to make, see out the game in the other teams half if we had done that recently we would be 4 points better off.

  14. was not at the game so cant comment on the pen till i have seen the higlights but all i will say is why do we insist on trying to sit back and defend in our own box when trying to see games out its feckin nonsense. Push out and get the play away from the danger area we done the same v accies and got the same result -2 points
  15. feckin pish 4 points we have given away in injury time in a few weeks we just cant see games out we should be safely in the top 6 by now.
  16. Agree with that if we are only going to see 2 players in as has been suggested by Steve Robinson on twitter then for me i hope its 2 midfielders or failing that 1 mid and 1 left back. The midfield badly needs strengthened Lasley is well past his best 2nd to every ball now and ends up chasing the game every week. when Hammell was injured which seems to be more regular these days we havw no decent cover, Watts been tried, Chalmers, even Marvin Johnson ffs so we need another capable left back asap.
  17. He is operating at a higher level than you then most of your posts struggle to make comedy bronze if at all.
  18. As I understand it I don't think there are any specific rules against it and if both teams are in agreement then yes it could be moved to Parkhead. Which to be honest if you are the EK board means more cash, they know they are going to get pumped so why not make a few quid, I personally think its wrong and against the spirit of the cup etc but for EK this is a one time deal so I can't argue against if that's what they decide to do.
  19. I think it was SFA rules section 13 only states that if the home ground is unsuitable for whatever reason then it should be played at the nearest ground of similar capacity. The list they put out would probably have had Fir Park at no 3 behind Hampden and the San giro if we had been away from home v ICT
  20. Not for me McManus and Hall have looked solid in recent games all our problems stem from midfield and a lack of decent cover for Hammell and Law. So far we have tried Kennedy, and Chalmers but both of them were brutal they were all over the place so let's hope our 1st choice fullbacks ie Hammell and law are fit for Dens park.
  21. They will probably move the game to the Sunday for TV and then play it at Fir Park, if that happensi hope Motherwell tell them to GTF as well after the damage they caused a couple of seasons ago.
  22. You really are a feckin depressing fuckwit why not give us all peace and wrap it with the negative pish you spout in every topic.
  23. Talking pish 2 seasons in a row at least you are consistent. The cup is great and a welcome distraction from the league bring it on.
  24. Agree with that especially about Lasley week in week out he is 2nd to every ball and ends up chasing the game. As for Pearson he was posted missing for most of the game he did not seem interested, took his goal well but too little too late. We need new faces in midfield ASAP to help them out.
  25. In the second half County looked like scoring every time they attacked. Until Pearson scored, their Goalkeeper really only had one save to make (Moult's header). Without several Ripley's saves, our goal would not have given us an outside chance of scraping a draw. Pish dont think you were watching the same game as me, county were feckin dreadful punt the ball long and chase, Ripley never had to make a difficult save, every one was comfortable. They only looked dangerous at set pieces and then our crap defending helped them. A draw would have been a fair result.
