As for the new boys Straker took a while to settle but showed some nice touches 2nd half but cant really judge after 1 game.And as for Laing that feckin bawbag Collum ruined his debut. Still a decent point though with 10 men onwards and upwards

The original post implied that as the player was struggling to get a game in a struggling team he was not a very good signing and BB was not overly impressed. The analogy still stands thats the level of player / Club that we have to deal with as we are feckin skint so we take what we can afford. Aye right the players from the top clubs in Europe are queing up to sign for us, who gives a feck where he comes from if he improves the team and contributes to keeping us in the premiership, thats all i want. Judge how effective he was in May.

What we need right now is experienced hard working players to focus on the task of keeping us in the league, so short term stop gap deals are fine, assuming they improve on what we have just now, which to be fair won't be too difficult given the pish we have seen so far. So When our premiership status has been secured then we can start to rebuild for the future.

Just seen the highlights this morning and i agree both the tackle on Erwin and pearson were stonewall pens. Thompson is a feckin knob, the standard of Scottish referreeing really is poor, lets hope he gets dealt with the same way as Collum, though i wont be holding my breath. As for Suttons Goal / no goal, its hard to tell but i dont think the ball was over, but giving the goal then changing his mind and making a james Hunt of the restart, just highlights the poor standard of the officials. We looked liked we created some chances so probably right to say we were unlucky which given recent results is an improvement.

I did not think we would be in the position we are now and i was expecting another chase for best of the rest and another Euro adventure to look forward to. However my expectation now is no lower than 10th place, i would be delighted with that come the end of May.

Not missed the point at all, yes we were poor on numerous occasions last season but we scored goals rode our luck and won games and did it consistently enough to finish best of the rest for the 2nd year running, 3 if you count the 3rd place behind Sevco. So having been the top end of the table for a few years and only losing one player in Hutchinson (not counting Faddy as he was brutal last season), then most if not all well fans would have predicted more of the same this term. How many people were on this forum in August predicting us as relegation strugglers (apart from MJC and Steelboy) nobody. So our complete and utter shambles of a season so far is a shock to me and i am sure many other fans feel the same.

Nobody remembers how well teams did or did'nt play it's scoring more goals than your opponents that count. I would settle for another performance like that against Untd on Saturday, 90 + minutes of backs to the wall defending, not losing any goals and scoring a winner in injury time

Dundee untd make a few quid on some of their better prospects because they have them tied down on log contracts from an early age by paying good wages. So if they get a big move ie gauld etc they can demand a decent transfer fee. We as a club are skint only enough cash for modest wages,short contracts so we have nothing to sell.

Was ok for a beer before the game, good atmosphere at times with away fans in as well (the blue and green ugly sisters excepted) so will be a shame to see it go. But i don't think it has been viable for years, so i am not surprised.

For park is a shite hole but its ours its got the old and the new the only unfinished main stand in the country unique in UK football. For all its faults its got character and I am sure every fan has their own memories of it good times and bad. So I would hate to be sitting in a new out of the box souless stadium ,no memories no character, no history so as limited as it is and with all its faults I hope we are there for years to come
