We can only assume that he was brought in on loan to develop himself and benefit the team as a whole he has never been seen in any capacity so there must be something going on either he is shit which begs the question why was he signed in the 1st place or he has an attitude issue and thats why hes not been seen so in that case safe to assume he will be hunted in January. Either way not a very good signing and seems to be a waste of a wage

yes its a shitty draw but lets be honest Rangers are not that good and if we start to get back to thinking that they are something special then we are beaten before we start, all that " we never beat them attitude" finished when we pumped them in the playoffs the season before last so they are there for the taking.

In my 45 years watching Morherwell i have sat through some dreadful matches and watched some utter dross in a Motherwell shirt but that was a new low tonight. 93 minutes of no shape to the team, no passion, no skill, no threat, 11 headless chickens running about it was a shocker. On the bright side after that the only way is up as it cant get much worse.

Cost is a big factor but not the only one allowing for the increase in peoples wages over the years the percentage cost of a ticket will be higher but i would suspect not as much as you think. Motherwell have always suffered crowd wise from the large numbers of locals who choose to go and support the ugly sisters every week and over the years our core support has probably dropped by maybe 2 or 3 thousand to the level its at now. But trying to compare crowd levels from games in the early 80's to games now is difficult, back then a live game on TV was a very rare event so if you wanted to see a match you had to actually go, now we have saturation coverage from all over the world not just for finals or Euro games but ordinary league matches,so on a cold wet night in January and the game is live on TV its an easy option to stay at home

Dont agree with all of that post but you are spot on with Lasley he is done and needs replaced Asap. As for Clay i thought he had a decent game last night so with a decent holding midfielder beside him he should be ok, Cadden and Ainsworth should akso be starting in midfield. Up front Bowman has potential he is a big lad and wins a lot in the Air so i would have him beside Moult in a front 2 and drop Mcdonald in behind them in front of the midfield. As for the defence Hammell is in the same category as Lasley ie he is done, so a left back is needed, as i said in an earlier post Samson gives me the fear so i think its time Brill had his chance. So apart from needing a new centre mid and a left back to replace Las and Hammell i think we have the potential for a decent squad

No stand outs but i thought Clay was the best of them he put in a good shift and was unlucky not to score the keeper made a great save so he geta my vote

Our youngsters as you put it have been allegedly ready to step up now for a few seasons but it has never happened. Some ie Dom Thomas are under their 3rd manager, 4 if you count craigan so they all cant be wrong about them, maybe they are not ready or all the managers think are not 1st team standard. So the conference dross as you put it might be the better option, but give mcgheee a call i am sure he would welcome your opinion.

Samson gives me the fear big time in all honesty he hardly had a save to make tonight but any time he was called into action he did not look convincing, so any critisism he gets is well justified.
