  1. Totally agree but on this forum, there is no chance of that happening.
  2. Sutton is more effective when the ball is crossed in to him, so i think we need wide players, so i would have Ainsworth right side and maybe Johnson left side with pearson and grant in the middle.

WTF are you on, is it the mind altering substances you take that makes you post random shite like this
  4. Spot on Dave, and add to that our left back on the day being totally lost and clueless as to where he should be letting players stroll past him at every opportunity, so its obvious as to where our problems lie.

Time for what ? to convince even more fans that some of them are way out of their depth, are you serioulsly trying to argue that somebody like Straker who struggled to get a game with an English league 2 side has the ability to cut it at premiership level.

He has shown nothing, no tactical abillity, playing players out of position, no plan B when we need a goal, playing guys like Straker who would struggle to get a game for a school team,so i fully expect him to be gone by next Sunday if we dont get anything from ICT, assuming the board have the balls to punt him if he does not walk himself.
  7. Fraud probably, impersonating a footballer since the start of the season,

When IB arrived i thought he would do ok, he talked a good game , new ownership a bit of extra cash for 6 new faces brought in during January, so the club seemed to be moving in the right direction. But having watched that dross on Saturday i dont think he is up to the job, ok we have a few key players injured, pearson, Hammell and Vigurs but i honestly think we have got worse since he took over. A couple of the players he brought in look to have some potential, Grant and Long and maybe Laing but the rest Oh dear, Johnson, Thomas and Straker are utter dross, they are way out of their depth at premiership level. This situation is turning in to a re-run of the Jim Gannon saga, lots of promise , then loses the dressing room and we end up struggling. If we get beaten by ICT on Saturday, which given our current form is a banker away win, then i think IB's time is up and he should be punted if he does not do the decent thing and walk himself. Then we could get somebody else in to steady the ship and have 10 games to keep us up.
  9. He could play left mid and help Straker, he looked like a panto clown today...

Well said mate..i was hoping he would have turned us round when he came in but we have got worse. I think the job may be beyond him its looking like the Jim Gannon show all over again. I would give him a couple of games then if we are still bottom show him the door and get somebody in to try to keep us up
  11. Is it such a hardship to go without a drink for 90 mins, i think not, in my case i drive to every game so i would not be drinking and i suspect that there are a lot more fans in the same position. I am old enough to remember going to games when taking in a " Carry out" was the norm, and at that time football stadiums were not nice places to be, i am not so sure if there really is a demand from fans to have the law changed.
  12. Totally agree with that, just watched the higlights this morning and Reid looked like he had a nightmare.
  13. Would not have been travelling to Aberdeen anyway so i am not bothered when they play it. If i am out on the Friday it will be recorded and watched at my leisure, or not dependent on the result. Don't know why people get so upset about matches being re-scheduled for TV. The TV money is about all that scottish football has going for it revenue wise so it hardly a surprise that Sky, BT sport etc will dictate the kick offs to suit their schedules, the SFA have nothing to bargin with. That said short notice alterations are pish for anybody who has sorted out time off work, booked trains etc, there should be a minimum period of say 2 weeks before the scheduled KO after which they are not allowed to change the times. But that would require some tough contract negotiations from the SFA / Clubs so thats not going to happen
  14. This is how poor refereeing should be handled, the SFA should take note, http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31125655
  15. From what i heard at the game and from the posts on this forum, i suspect that the opinion of a lot of well fans is that Collum is a feckin useless wee knob, and arguably the worst referee in the country, Fifa list standard, the SFA are having a laugh
  16. Thats the key point here, from where i was sitting in the POD all i could see was 2 players going for the ball at speed and falling over each other, no intent, no foul, no red card. If the saints player had been clear of laing and on his way towards goal then fair enough, but he wasn't the 2 of them tripped over each other, so no foul for me.
  17. He is a feckin joke, could not get the red card out of his pocket quick enough, i have my doubts if it was even a foul never mind a straight red. But this is the prick that the SFA put on their Fifa list, its a feckin disgrace he gets away with murder week in week out. But will anything be done about it...no chance.
  18. Delighted with a point for all Saints domination of the game they were feckin pish, wee dan hardly had a save to make.1st half we had no threat but kept ourselves in the game, after Thomas and Moore came on we started to look more of a danger going forward, a we got the reward, great work by Thomas and a good finish by Sutton. As for the new boys Straker took a while to settle but showed some nice touches 2nd half but cant really judge after 1 game. And as for Laing that feckin bawbag Collum ruined his debut. Still a decent point though with 10 men onwards and upwards
  19. No surprise there then, any opportunity for trolling and winding people up...
  20. The original post implied that as the player was struggling to get a game in a struggling team he was not a very good signing and BB was not overly impressed. The analogy still stands thats the level of player / Club that we have to deal with as we are feckin skint so we take what we can afford. I assume IB thinks he will add to the team, so as i said judge the player in May
  21. Aye right the players from the top clubs in Europe are queing up to sign for us, who gives a feck where he comes from if he improves the team and contributes to keeping us in the premiership, thats all i want. Judge how effective he was in May.
  22. What we need right now is experienced hard working players to focus on the task of keeping us in the league, so short term stop gap deals are fine, assuming they improve on what we have just now, which to be fair won't be too difficult given the pish we have seen so far. So When our premiership status has been secured then we can start to rebuild for the future.
  23. Just seen the highlights this morning and i agree both the tackle on Erwin and pearson were stonewall pens. Thompson is a feckin knob, the standard of Scottish referreeing really is poor, lets hope he gets dealt with the same way as Collum, though i wont be holding my breath. As for Suttons Goal / no goal, its hard to tell but i dont think the ball was over, but giving the goal then changing his mind and making a james Hunt of the restart, just highlights the poor standard of the officials. We looked liked we created some chances so probably right to say we were unlucky which given recent results is an improvement.
