Before the game i would have taken a draw and on the balance of play Aberdeen probably deserved the point... But it felt like a defeat at the end, a brilliant effort by most of the team wasted because we have a fekin useless bombscare of a keeper...he really needs to go
-
Prosecute the greatest fans in tbe world...aye right dont hold your breath on that one. Those feckin scumbags have been getting away with shit like that for years. The police dont want to know, the SFA are shit scared of them and their media spin doctors will blame everybody else. Still Lawell banned them for 5 mins so its ok. Its time the media started to get right into these feckers

No doubt Celtic will be on the phone to UEFA seeking clarification over the damage...if they want conclusive proof collect the broken seats and nail them to brother walfrids statue outside that shithole. The really are beyond belief, feckin scumbags

only 7 goals in 25 starts for Oldham, so he is not that much of a goal scorer, he looked ok when he was at Inverness so may do a turn for them, but he is no better than what they have just now, so would not be too worried. thats it officially jinxed now rooney debut hat trick on saturday

So far just about every grade 1 ref in Scotland has been named on this thread for various reasons of incompetence, anybody notice a pattern developing..ie none of them are any good
-
Never been to parkhead in nearly 15 years now, would not give them the money for a restricted view seat and to be treated like scum by arsehole stewards.
-
Flares/smoke bombs/bangers who gives a feck what they are or what effect they have..why do people feel the need to bring them to a game. Why not just turn up, support the team and enjoy the footie FFS, wiithout risking getting chucked out or lifted.
-
As much as i would give my left bollock for a win as well...i suspect it wont be the magnificent 7 for us. Still never say never a point would be massive.

Maxwell.nijholt..boyd..griffen..patterson..mccart..arnott.. angus..cooper..ferguson..o'donnell. The 91 cup winning team..Motherwell Legends for ever.
-
yes a great win today, 1-0 or 5-0 you still get 3 points and increase the goal difference, so job done, 6 in a row bring on the Celtic.
-
This for me as well, nothing other than a easy win for the good guys

The club website says that 2 areas of the pitch in paticular, both in front of the East stand were the problem, so the rumour may have some truth in it.
-
Heard an unconfirmed rumour from a club employee on Wedndsday that Hutchison was off to Sheff untd for a fee and we were getting Murphy on loan. But just saw he has scored against Aston Villa in FA cup today so i doubt that will happen as he seems to be a regular starter
-
I am not trying to apportion blame i am sure the groundstaff did the best they could to get the game but as you say sometimes it makes no difference. The main point however is valid ie did the pitch works a sort out the drainage issues as Fir park still seems to get more Call offs than other grounds. Time will tell but if they are having to work hard to get games on then there may still be a problem

This is Scotland thats all it does is feckin rain..the point i am making is that only a handful of games scheduled for today at all levels will be called off, and very few if any of those will be top flight games. As for it raining for a week, the pitch looked fine on Wednesday, so 2 days of rain and its now unplayable how can that be acceptable.
-
Just checked on BBC England has a full league and FA cup programme today and only 7 games called of, 3 of which are in the conference. Only 1 call off in Scotland at Fir park !!! http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/25586728
-
Yes games will be called off under extreme conditions, but a bad as this rain is it is hardly monsoon material. The club has spent a fortune on the pitch and the 1st prolonged spell of shit weather and the pitch is unplayable!!! If it cant cope witb this have the old issues been fixed and if not why not ?
-
Have to agree with that..i bet we will be the only game off today, the rain is not that heavy and no doubt if the game had been scheduled for a sensible time then it would be on. Now it will be rearranged for a midweek date, less crowd, less revenue etc. Given the money that has been spent on that pitch, it should be able to handle some heavy rain ffs, every other top flight ground seems to cope. This gives the other teams around us a chance to make up some ground, points on the board are always better than games in hand. We have pitch covers why were they not used.

Vigurs for me, thought he put in a great shift today, he took his goal well
-
Thats my thoughts as well, given that Nielsen is on a 2 year deal and Hollis is a year into his 2 year extension, it would seem logical that we would need to move one of them on if SMC wanted to make the Twardzik loan permanent, and from what i have seen of him he looks a decent keeper. The problem with moving any of the 2 keepers on is would anybody want to buy them ? as i assume a fee would be wanted unless there is a mutual agreement to release the contract. So even if we managed to get Twardzik on a free transfer (assuming SMC is interested in signing him) can we afford to be paying 3 keepers, if Hollis or Nielsen dont go.
-
No feckin excuse..its a fuck up by MFC every one who entered should know who won..how difficult can it be to put a few words on a web site its been over a week ffs
-
Agree with that, Twardzik had at least 3 great saves today, the one when we were a goal down was a belter. He looks a lot better than Hollis or Nielsen how long can we keep him .
