To be fair they took £8 for the 10 euro Panathinikos tickets so hopefully they will do the same again and charge the sterling equivilent, probably £29 but expecting to pay £30. Edit - its official tickets will be £28

You would think that McFadden would be keen to get back playing competetive football again..and get himself in the shop window. Any offer he gets is better than the one he currently has ie Feck All, but he is obviously chasing the Cash... its dissapointing.
-
Away tickets are on sale...all tickets €35 3,5 times the cost of the CL away tickets ffs
-
They look cool ...the shop should sell them, couple on my deck would look good

Motherwell dont have the depth of squad to be able to drop players like Ojamma...you dont have to score lots of Goals to be a good player and have a big influence on games, his pace and movement creates lots of chances for others to convert. Granted he can be a bit greedy at times when there is a better option available, but he carries a threat and therefore he should be one of the 1st names on the team sheet.

We are booked into Olympia for the Thursday night ..it looks ok..close to stadium and metro (10 mins to city centre)
-
Sorry to be pedantic but UEFA are correct, there are 24 hrs in each day, so using the 24 hr clock to avoid am/pm confusion 24:00 hrs is perfectly valid.

Lets be honest the east stand is a shit hole that should have been demolished years ago, its not fit for purpose anymore. But until we move from Fir park to a new stadium, or knock it down and replace it we have to live with it. How many times in a season will there be long queues to get in to a game, unless we get to the CL or EL group stages i suspect that last night will be the 1 and only time. We have to live with the fact that Fir Park is in the middle of a residential area, so you can't just randomly close roads etc to allow people to Q, so until we have a shiny new football stadium at the Craig, just turn up a bit earlier... Simples

you really are a fud considering Boumsong missed the ball completly.

I was proud of every player in the team last night, we played really well and created lots of chances against a good Panathinikos side, who in truth are a lot better than us. Every player put in a great shift, and with a bit more composure in front of goal we would have scored at least 1 (Ojamma not looking up and playing Murphy in was the best of them). It was our champions league debut and we made a very good experienced European team look ordinary, its only half time and we are 2 down, so anything is possible. Panathinikos will consider it as job done, but if we can score 1st in Athens then its game on, we showed last night that we can create oportunities against them, lets live the dream and believe.

You might get away with that one mate, just seems to be Red and white that puts them over the edge, so no accies or Aberdeen tops

I have had a couple of responses from posts i submitted on a Panathinikos forum, about the seating at the Olympic stadium http://forum.greenwebfans.com/, they have an English language section. The advice is to stick to the 10 euro seats as they are on the top tier and give you a better view and are a safer bet if the locals get restless.(section 20 was mentioned as the visitors area) The other advice was not to make any references in any way shape or form about Olympiakos, as the Pans fans tend to go a bit tonto if you do. Re: Seating at the Olympic stadium Sent: Tue 31 Jul , 2012 00:06 From: WEMBLEY-13 To: wellfan1886 hello m8. Listen. Stick to upstairs, if things for Pana go wrong it would be safer to be upstairs. And please m8, one piece of friendly advice - if u can put it through your pals. Do not ( i repeat do not ) mention anything about Gayros (Olympiakos) Do not try to raise any flags that you might be given in your short Athens stay, do not try to repeat any chants that someone from your friends might be taught. Believe me, the hell will break loose Re: Seating at the Olympic stadium by GERMAN » Mon 30 Jul , 2012 16:08 Stick to the 10E ticket. You have a better view from "upstairs"....

Just spoke to stressed individual at FP, ticket sales for away leg will be the same as previous years, name, address, and passport details required for each person tickets are for. There does not seem to be any restriction on how many 1 person can get, but they will probably need photo ID . Also it seems it will be Wednesday at the earliest before they go on sale, but they dont know what time

Every time we have a European tie we get all this grief over away leg tickets, and we are still making life difficult for people. This is our biggest European game ever, our debut at the top table, there are people flying out to Greece in 4 or 5 days and they still have no tickets...how difficult can it be. If the club dont have the resource then get a professional ticket company to organise it..or get the online option sorted with enough capacity to take the demand.
-
Should make the views from the bars interesting.
-
Looking at the online stadium tour the top tier is the even gates and the odd gates are on the bottom...gates 8,9 &10 or 26,27 & 28 seem to be the best view. It would be helpful to know where the tickets are for.

At t risk of being hounded for going off topic, i think that given that this was the champions league etc, the size of the official party on this trip was guarenteed to be larger than usual. By this i mean club officials and directors, friends and family of club officials and directors, sponsors, friends of sponsors and a whole host of other assorted hangers on. The number of seats on the charter for ordinary fans was always going to be limited. If this had been done in plenty time then those who never got a seat still had time to make alternate arrangements, but by the time they were told the plane was full all the cheap deals had gone. The club have had 4 months to sort this out so if the demand was there why not put on 2 planes, or use the same plane split over 2 days like they done for the trip to Katowice in 91.

For an extra £16 i would ra.ther have a decent view of the game, all the Well fans should do the same, the trip is costing a few quid so why skimp on another £16. I dont want to spend all that cash getting to Athens and then not see the game as the pitch is too far away.
