    Aberdeen

Ojamaa for me...best player on the park today by a long way..he was unplayable at times, deserved a goal
  2. Thats the problem being a motherwell fan these days, for 5 or 6 years now we have become regular contenders / participants in Europe, culminating this season with our 1st taste of the champions league, and when you throw in the Scottish cup final we have regularly over achieved for the size of the team we are. So anything less than a European place and / or a good cup run is considered a dissapointment. Given the size of the squad we have and the quality of the players in that squad i think that SMC has done a great job so far, he is getting no help from the board with any cash to strengthen the team. Our home form is feckin woeful but we are sitting 3rd, and being able to close games out (ie St Mirren at home and Aberdeen away) would have seen us with another 4 points and joint top. So lets stop all this is SMC's time up pish and get behind the team, yes we have been dumped from 4 tournaments with not much of a fight but we were playing in them, season 2012-13 will show Uefa Champions league, Motherwell as one of Scotland participants and that memory will stay with me for a long time., so onwards and upwards and concentrate on the SPL and another 2nd place finish and another champions league adventure. We are all Stuart mcCall

    Ross County

Higdon for me...great game today, everything stuck to him and his distribution was excellent..i would have Humphrey as a close second
  4. +1 for me with that..Hateley is feckin brutal just now...but the whole back line apart from Hutch is a bomb scare it needs to be sorted
  5. Webster aye right he is utter shite, always has been and always will be...
  6. 1 pass to Ojamaa, turns 2 defenders and takes out another 2 with his pass to Humphrey...what a hit from him and its a goal... If Barca had scored like that they would be raving about it for months. Goal of the season so far for me
  7. Its trial by TV....the pictures dont look good and he did flick out his right leg to catch the Hearts player, but the referee did not deem it worthy of a booking or a Red card at the time. Now after we have W**kers like Andy Walker and his media chums bleating on about it, the other tosser that is the SFA compliance officer decides to have a look, would we be getting the same uproar if it was a player from either of the ugly sisters involved.. i think not... as the recent McCulloch incident proved.
  8. Watched the 1st half of the Chelsea, Man city game today and it was utter boring pish, the so called best league in the world !!!!! and it did not improve 2nd half either. So dont knock the SPL too much.
  9. Thanks mate, was feeling rough at the game though, still drinking Stella at 4am on Sunday morning !!
  10. Was a great performance yesterday but Inverness were shocking..as for Daley scoring we were having a laugh then...very small away support...probably about 150 but it was a good weekend
  11. 3 of us travelling up on train tomorrow afternoon plus 1 flying up from Gatwick..staying 2 nights so should be a good one...we have a good record up there and i am expecting it to continue on Sunday...Well by 2 goals
  12. 4-0 is a fekin embarassment we are goung from bad to worse...smc needs to get this sorted asap...
  13. They are feckin amateurs, it never ceases to amaze me how they can take a simple process and turn it into a organizational shambles. You buy a season book so that you dont need to go to Fir park and pick up tickets etc and now they want all the season book holders to do that !!! What the F*ck are the vouchers in the season book for, we never had any of this nonsense for the rearranged Hibs game last season, turn up use voucher and get it, how difficult does it need to be. They have been bleating on all summer about greater support from the fans to increase revenue at the turnstyles etc and then the 1st chance they get they are pissing off the season ticket holders by nonsense like this, they need to be having a look at themselves and sorting this crap out now.
  14. Use a voucher from back of season book no hassle and no fuss....simples but as usual the club f*ck it up and cause grief...feckin amateurs, you seriously could not make it up.
  15. why would it be soul destroying...do Airdrie, st mirren, st johnstone, hamilton, or fans of any other team who have moved to a new stadium have any less affinity or support for the club. yes i think Fir park has a unique atmosphere but i would support the team just as well in a new stadium
  16. The seat cleaning may be a minor issue but it is an indication of how much the POD is past its best, this is the stand that the club charge the most for to get facilities way below the standard that fans in the Cooper or South stands enjoy . General clenliness apart though the main concern is Saftey, just standing up to let somebody past you is a performance in the POD never mind trying to evacuate in an emergency. I think that it is time for a move, a site at the Craig would have been a good move but not sure if that would still be an option.
  17. I know that Saturdays events had nothing to do with Fir Park or Motherwell Fc but it has opened up the debate on the general condition and facilities on offer at the Ark. Has the time come for the club to move to a new stadium or is it worth spending money on making the ground fit for purpose ? I am a season ticket holder in the POD and i have to say that it is showing its age big time, £380 a year for a seat that has not been cleaned in years (unless i do it myself), the seats are held together by random bits of wood, the bucket seats are a joke, the roof leaks and the PA system is shocking. Add to that inadequate provison of catering and toilet facilities, particularly when there is a big crowd and it becomes clear that the stadium has had its day. So is it time for the club to start looking for a new home, a purpose built stadium approx 10,000 seats would be big enough for us and give us a stadium fit for the 21st century. Given the current ecconomic climate i know that this is not a very likely scenario but the land that Fir park occupies must have a significant value, so should the club take the gamble and seek some additional investment. Thoughts and comments please ?
  18. No complaints about yesterday, we were well beaten by a much better team, i think we done very well to keep the score down to 2. Celtic are by far the best team we will face all season, so as in previous years anything we get from them is a bonus, they will win the league easily. Its how we play against the other 10 teams that matters and from results so far we have nothing to fear from any of them. 8 games played in a very tight league and we are sitting 2nd so we are ok, its been a bad week but onwards and upwards and back to winning ways next week as Dundee untd are utter pish at the moment .
  19. TV off as well its a fuckin embarassment how pish and gutless we are against this mob...total feckin shambles
  20. Thats it game over same feckin shit every time we play them..why am i not surprised
  21. Fuck off.....same old story
  22. The greatest thing motherwell have to overcome on Wed is our own inferiority complex whenever we see a Rangers jersey, it time to ditch the emotional baggage and get right feckin into them. They probably have a side that might hold its own in the SPL, but so do Inverness, Kilmarnock Aberdeen etc, and we have dealt with them without too much fuss. So this is the time to get into them and slap them down to remind them that they are a 3rd division side, and lucky to be even that, its time for some payback for 10 years of letting them shaft us.. Believe
  23. I know we would have taken a point before the game but the way we lost the 2 was unprofessional, we should be seeing games like that out, ie keep the ball, bring on the subs, break the play up etc do what it takes to get the result. Thats 4 points we have lost this season already after 92 mins FFS, points that we should have, sitting at the top 5 points clear would be a lot better, and come the end of the season it could be the difference between a European place and nothing. We are playing well, scoring a few goals but we need to get a bit more ruthless and kill games off, Aberdeens 3rd goal yesterday was an example of what not to do, last minute of injury time 3-2 up the ball should not be given away, especially not for a free kick that allowed Aberdeen to get the ball into the box quickly.
  24. Minority of 2 now mate, i feel exactly the same...not been near Ibrox for over 18 years now and not starting now. I will be delighted if we pump them, but will be watching from home.
  25. Watched the whole game on Alba....poor 1st half but we upped the pace 2nd half and were the better team...Higdon took his chances well..a deserved 3 points....a good day all round
