+1 have to agree with that big strong target man who scores a few goals, would be a good replacement for Sutton
-
straight red for that effort
-
HOTD for this dross please
-
Aye right, he is worth a punt in the Baws, he is pish
-
Great player but out of our league as far as wages go i think
-
Does anyone else think that the "fantastic early bird discount" as described on the official web site of a massive £10 for renewing your ST before the end of May is not exactly a deal clincher.
-
As bad as it sounds i have to agree, 20 years waiting for another Scottish cup final day out and it turned out a total anti climax. The main problem with the lack of atmosphere from the well fans was that probably 90% of them didn't really care who won, they were day trippers out for a cup final. I went to the toilet at about 60 mins and there were hundreds of people leaving FFS, 30 mins to go in a cup final that says it all really.

That sounds a good shout, if it was correctly priced it could be added to the Season book package if you are buying one, or as a separate deal if not. The basic principle is good, one share = 1 vote etc, but nobody is that naive to think that we will influence any real decisions, as the bulk of the shareholding will still be in the hands of a few. But as recent events have shown companies / directors etc cannot afford to ignore the shareholders, so on contencious issues the ordinary fans could have an important say.

+1 ffs you would need to be on drink/ drugs or both to think that would .be a good signing
-
Now that John Boyle has signed over his shares and given up control of the club with the club moving towards community ownership will it be a benefit to Motherwell and take the club forward ? Giving the fans the chance to buy shares is a good idea as long as they are reasonably priced but will the ordinary fan have any real say in the way the club is run. There are probably thousands of ordinary shareholders at the moment but they have no real influence. True community ownership would have some sort of supporter representation on the board with a direct input to real decisions. This could be the chance for Motherwell to take the lead in Scottish football and the fans to get some return on their investment if it is organised properly.

In all honesty i have to agree with that, Craggs is showing his age now and i think its time he was replaced. In Hutchison we have a great prospect who has been solid as a rock since he came into the team mid season but he needs a partner to back him up. If i was SMC i would make recruiting a centre half his number 1 priority during the summer.

+1 Tomorrow is the Time for new heroes, lets get right behind them
-
Its the Anglian home top for me, just love the Motherwell FC on the back one of our best tops in recent years
-
SMC's haircut was the same as it is today

Does it really matter who the sponsor is as long as the club is getting the maximum amount of money they can for the deal, i dont think it does. Why are some people up in arms about Cash converters, what would be a good shirt sponsor ? We would all like a major corporation to throw lots of money at us to wear their logo on the shirts but in the SPL that wont happen. We have to get the best deal available and if that is with cash converters then i have no issue with that. Look on the bright side ST holders might get extra cash for any items they take to the local branch

Whit !! he has been here for a season ffs and shown no potential whatsoever, with time he will get punted and we will spend the money we save on something better. He is a complete waste of space. Having said that if he gets a run out at Hampden and scores a last minute winner i will be happy, but i wont be holding my breath

Granted its a small office and there is a lot to do but the whole thing has been a shambles from the start. If they had just given the ST holders their tickets in exchange for voucher and then put any tickets left on general sale this would all have been sorted. But in true MFC fashion they do their best to make a simple task difficult.. 1. Why did they make everybody fill out application forms FFS, most of the info on them is bullshit, they were never checked. 2. Making people register for a ballot is nonsense, just sell the feckin tickets from FP or town centre unit. Just as well we only get to a major final every 20 years or so, its about all they can handle.

It would be worth the bookings and the odd red card for some of the fringe players to get right into them and weaken them for the final. Show them DVD's of Colin O'Neils tackles against Celtic and Peter grant running into O'neils elbow that should get them fired up

Why worry about what team SMC puts out on Sunday, if he has any sense he will rest most of the 1st choice players. Even if we field the full strength team, chances are Celtic would beat us, they are going for the title and need to win. So why risk injury to key players the week before the final, our squad is not that big. I want whats best for motherwell, and if that means Celtic winning the league and getting us into Europe then so be it, there is more to be gained from that than a few weeks Gloating about beating them to deny them the League. Another European adventure brings in a lot of cash and could help in keeping existing or attracting new players to the club. To have any chance of winning at Hampden SMC must have all his 1st choice player fit and rested and well up for the game, so leaving them out of a meaningless league game for us would be a good move
-
+1 His 30 or 40 yard crossfield ball right onto Chris Humphrey's feet was awesome, best move of the game.
-
For me its a great top, only minor point is the 125 years not being too visible, but otherwise a good job. I think that it will sell well, traditional design, no manky sponsors logo spoiling it, so all round a good effort from the club. I will probably buy one if they are available in 3xl fat B**t**d size.

That be the legend that was Ray Allan ?

Thats fair enough if the club passes on the transaction charge, but if you bought 4 or 24 tickets and paid by card its a single transaction they are taking the piss and ripping us off charging £1 or £2 per ticket . I paid for 15 tickets yesterday, luckily i had collected the cash beforehand, but if i put it on my card it would have been an extra £30 ffs. We are being ripped off an explanation from the club would be appreciated.
-
Totally agree with that, the SFA are shit scared of upsetting either of the ugly sisters so they always get what they want, its time the rest of the clubs grew a set and sorted it out, but i am not holding my breath waiting for it to happen. The tickets should have been split 50/50 and if the tattie munchers wanted more then they could get back what we did not sell. As for segregation, not counting the south stand all it needed was a few rows of seats spare down the middle of the north stand between sections C & D but as usual we got shafted. Unless you are in the top half of the seats behind the goals at Hampden the view is shit, from row A you are lucky if you can see the pitch

Are you serious with that comment if you were what a Fud
