Instead of whining about stopping powers that the police and courts already have why not go to football, support your team , act like a sensible human being, dont shout abuse or make racist, sectarian comments etc, and generally enjoy the match....then the police or stewards will have no need to bother you...simples

Saturday is a normal working day for a lot of people now, so Friday night football might suit them to get back to watching the well, we need to try something to get the crowds back, so why not this, i hope it works out. Just think you can go to the game and then have all day Saturday for christmas shopping with the wife or girlfriend

Matchday The club will endeavour to provide a safe, trouble free environment for all spectators and provide a quality service through our turnstile staff, catering outlets, stewards, and all other staff employed on match days. In return, the club expects spectators to refrain from using foul and abusive language, taunts or gestures of a racist or obscene nature and to inform members of the security staff regarding anyone engaging in such activity. For security and safety reasons, under the terms of our Ground Regulations, standing is forbidden in seated viewing areas, whilst the match is under way. The club is obliged to advise any spectators in breach of this requirement to desist and failure to comply with this request may result in the person, or persons, being removed from the ground. From what i and the other well fans around me had to put up with last Sunday the club is failing to uphold this charter miserably. 1. no access to toilets or catering, 2. Standing Celtic fans ignoring the stewards ( they eventually sat down to be fair) 3. Bigoted, sectarian, foul language, taunts and gestures, yes they were all coming from the Celtic support The club needs to sort this out before the next ugly sisters visit to FP, the POD is not designed for segregation, when the south stand was built the club stated it was for away fans only, thats all they should get. Its time the club started to treat its owm supporters fairly instead of chasing every penny from the old firm arseholes.

Totally agree with this we have to sit accross the Aisle from these arseholes and listen to the sectarian bile for 90 mins, on Sunday they were constantly standing up, smoking in the toilets, and generally being arrogant knobs. What did the stewards do... Feck all !! We had them all singing "f****n army", " up the RA" "Fields of athenry" and many other "old Irish folk tunes". which if any one of us had uttered a single one of those words we would have been lifted immediately, but they get away with it week after week. The situation in the POD for these games is becoming dangerous, i know its revenue for the club but if that is at the expense of the long term season book holders then its not worth it, give the feckers the south stand and tell them thats all they are getting. The police, and stewards do feck all when either of the ugly sisters are at Fir park, but more particularly when Celtic are here, they are shit scared to upset them in case they run bleating to the SFA, Newspapers, Parliment, that they are being discriminated against, its time the authorities grew a set and stood up to them. But when you get an arrogant ginger haired W**K in charge and celebrating like he did on Sunday after the 2nd goal then what can we expect, if he gets away with it then the fans think that they are untouchable. Its time The supporters trust started discussions with the club to get this sorted before there is a serious incident in the POD, but the club only see revenue so i wont be holding my breath.

We have been here before going up against one of the ugly sisters in crisis, worst team in years etc and usually we end up getting pumped big time. But we are playing well just now and if we can get the mental attitude right on Sunday then we are more than capable of getting a result. This is a big test for us if we have realistic ambitions to be best of the rest or possibly runners up who knows, but the team needs to believe that they can win, as recently against the ugly sisters we have not turned up. We have a good record up there, so i think it will be another 3 points to the total to keep us in the Champions league spot, to set us up nicely for the Celtic game. Will be up Friday and saturday night so it should be a good one.

I will probably be doing the same, investing in football is never a sensible and rational move but people will do it because they love the club and want to see it do well. The Steel option is the one i will go for, apart from the initial £300 the annual £50 you will probably get back on other things, ie 5% on season book (£19 in my case for a POD ticket) and any items you buy from the club shop. so even if i dont buy anything else the yearly cost for me is only £31, less than 10p a day for the club you love is not a bad deal.

so its still a Motherwell win, a 0-0 draw or a Celtic victory prediction from you then you dont leave much to chance do you.

Whit our tactics were pish yesterday Rangers played their European game with everybody behind the ball at all times and we could not break it down. Hamell and Hatley were too far forward at times and left huge spaces for Rangers to get in behind, as Lafferty showed for the 2nd goal, with Hamell nowhere to be seen. Playing good attacking passing football is ok but you need to keep the back door shut and this did not happen with the 2 Full backs pushing forward all the time Craigan and Hutchy in the middle were fucked, Yes we played some great stuff at times, and probably against any other non old firm team we would have got a result but against Rangers its not good enough, SMC got the tactics badly wrong, we needed to be a bit more direct, trying to get in behind a team who are not coming out and have 9 players inside the 6 yard box for a corner !!! does not work.

I bet you are a real happy soul, obviously as you think we have no chance you will not be going. Motherwell do beat Rangers admittedly not for a while now but it used to be a regular occurrence, this current run needs to end sometime and given the strenght of the current Rangers squad and how we are playing just now i think we have a good chance on Sunday. We need all the well fans to get right behind the team, so get rid of the negative sh*te and start believing

I have to agree with that i thought he was a bomb scare today !!! and having just watched the highlights he looked even worse, most of Hearts best efforts came from his mistakes. But saying that we kept a clean sheet, so you cant criticise the defence too much

There is a good local band from Craigneuk thats good at that stuff, now that there busy time is over they have midweek's free, it's only a short walk down to Fir park.

What people seem to be forgetting is that standing is not allowed under current legislation as a result of the Taylor report recomendations after Hillsborough. It is a condition of membership of the SPL that you have an all seater stadium, currently 6,000 minimum, but not sure on that. So irrespective of whether the majority of fans at a club want it it wont happen unless the SPL change their rules, and we all know how difficult that is or we get relegated which is again unlikely. The SPL wont change their rules as they are bound by current government legislation re all seated stadiums. So unless there is a major political U-turn and the SFA, SPL etc agree it wont happen.

Lets be honest with ourselves for a minute, Motherwell are a selling club, they always have been and the first decent 7 figure offer that comes in for Murphy will be accepted and he will be off. But just for a change i would like the board to think about the teams prospects and keep players like Murphy for as long as they can,he is a young player and will move eventually. Ii would rather he stayed, banged in the goals, helped Motherwell to maybe 3rd place in the league, european qualification, possible cups runs etc this season and hopefully next than have some director tell me that the club is ok and we have a couple of million in the bank. He is worth probably 2 million so what could we do with that, buy 1 or 2 new players, improve the stadium, pay off the clubs debts ? All this will happen anyway so lets for once try to keep our best talent and let SMC get them playing some good football, the signs so far this season have been encouraging.

If Broadfoot wants regular 1st team football then why not sign for us on a 1/2 or full season loan. Only problem would be what percentage of his wages would we be able to afford ? But as SMC is good pals with McCoist, Rangers might not be too difficult to deal with.
