To be fair, The records of our last 3 managers were not that good either, its a new approach, so let's see what he brings to the club, hopefully stability, building a decent squad and maybe some entertaining football as a bonus, time will tell. Any half competent coach / manager should be able to assess a player's basic ability and application very quickly and determine if they will fit the style he wants to play, so I expect a clear out given the shite we are currently seeing.

That will be the Alexander European adventure where we were beaten home and away by those giants of the European game, Sligo rovers and the Kettlewell cup semi where we threw away a half time lead and were feckin brutal 2nd half and deservedly lost. And you say we were served up shite under other managers, those two should be top of the list, especially Alexander.

Let's be honest we're probably not going to get a manager currently in a job so by definition it's going to be an unemployed or a failed manager that's probably been punted from several clubs in their carreers. So previous records are not that important but what is important is experience of what's involved, dealing with players, used to operating on a budget, good contacts in the game etc. Whoever we get has a big rebuilding job in the summer to build a fit settled team so I hope the board are up to the task and get the appointment right.

We just need Lennon to do the same and we can relax a bit.
