I think that's known as Stamatelopoulos syndrome Dave🤔

What's it down to then, are you seriously suggesting that Motherwell as a professional football team are implementing training policies / procedures that are injuring its players or deliberately signing players that are injured?

Rangers did this last season as well, great results in Europe and bang average at best domestically, the same will happen this year.

I only saw the 2nd half and Shankland hardly touched the ball, he was anonymous, for me hes vastly overrated. I agree though both teams looked average at best, nothing to fear from either of them.

I have no idea if there was any sell on clause or not, either way if there was or its compensation related the club might still earn some more cash. They could use it to put some cover in at Mrs Baillies to stop the lager getting wet.

£1.4 million allegedly, its been rejected by Sturm Graz. According to various bits of online chatter there are a few clubs interested in him, I hope we had a sell on clause in the deal when he left us.

You've taken that too far, Grizzlyg is the forum comedian leave the attempts at humour to him.

He changed his mind live on Sky last night during the after match analysis " Motherwell wont finish 11th" he said, so its either top 10 or relegation then 😂

We gave ourselves a chance of a top 6 finish last season while playing absolutely shitfest football. So if we can maintain the standard we've set so far, bring in a decent centre forward and a defensive midfielder, a top 6 finish is a very achievable target, for me i reckon it will be 5th or 6th

I know this might sound ridiculous but Ross Callachan is actually on the pitch playing football, on as a sub for Arbroath v Ayr, hes had one touch in 10 mins.

Its not that long ago that the club did not care about the home fans and gave the ugly sisters the South and Cooper stands as well as both wings of the POD any time they were in town, moving many ST holders in the process. The only thing the club can do given that they are bound by league rules etc is to do away with match categories and charge all fans home and away the same price, for all stands apart from the Hunter, I think its currently £26 for the POD. But it will never happen as the financial cost to the club would be prohibitive, 5000 away fans in thd South stand at £8 is £40k, 4 times a year is £160k that could finance 1 or 2 players wage.. Thats also another reason why league reconstruction is so difficult to get agreement on, clubs dont want to lose any of the revenue from games against the ugly sisters.

Let's hope we don't get too greedy, these big clubs will have no problem waiting till next summer and get to sign him for nothing if required.

Agreed as always the club are cashing in on the large support the ugly sisters bring to Fir Park, at the expense of the home fans as they need to charge the same price. Clubs should be encouraging fans to attend matches, charging £34 a ticket is not the way to do it, a ticket, pie and bovril and you are already nearly £42 down.

As far as i am aware its a beer garden with little or no shelter/ cover. In Scotland it will be lucky to be open on matchdays given the weather we have.

STV news reporting that JBA has confirmed bids have been received for Miller but no further details, I can't see him starting against Rangers.

I assume its located on the spare ground at the unfinished end of the POD stand, if it is there is a distinct lack of signage.

A fair bit of online chat re Bologna and Udinese, but nothing to suggest an actual bid has been received. If he starts against Rangers then I would say the club has not received any genuine / acceptable bids, if hes not in the squad then that would suggest a move may be forthcoming, time will tell.

A home tie would have been better but considering the other teams we could have drawn, away to StJ is a decent draw. I only hope we perform a lot better than our last cup tie in Perth.

Oooh another quick defence of the blue uglies, you are on form today

Agreed thats the best attitude to have, see who we get then deal with that game. 👍

Good to see you keep up to date with what's happening at your big team.

The only purpose of the seeding is to keep the Ugly sisters apart till the final, as the SFA /SPFL do all in their power to pander to them its a feckin nonsense. As far as I can tell the seeds are the 5 Euro teams plus Hearts, StJ and Partick.

I've supported Motherwell a long time we are never that lucky in cup draws, but any of those 3 would be a result.

Other results today are not going for us, so its very unlikely we are going to be one of the 3 best group winners and be seeded. So away at one of the Premiership clubs in the last 16 is looming.

I thought setting off pyros and bringing them into a football match was against the law, club operating rules and regulations etc but now we have the stewards standing watching organised displays ffs.
