If var had done its job properly, the St mirren player would never been sent off, Slattery would have had a yellow card and that would have been the end of it. If the club get things right on and off the pitch and generate enough income to be able to back the manager financially then why not, anything is possible. But there is a lot to sort out outwith improving the team, do we move or improve, new training facilities, etc etc. Standing still and showing no ambition other than avoiding relegation each season is no way to develop the club and get more fans back to Fir park, so the board have a job on their hands, but so far we seem to be moving in ghe right direction.
