Trolls are like the climate activists and tree huggers, shouting criticism and negativity at anyone who will listen, but when questioned have no sensible alternative to offer. As with all our signings, ie KVV, Higdon, Moult to name a few, Bair is a punt and time will tell if it works out, he'll be judged on how he performs at Fir Park and not his previous teams.

We never sneaked into the seeded spots, we did what we had to to win the group and get a seeded spot while other teams failed to better our record.

Our ex players team are nothing to fear, would have preferred to play them at Fir park but we can go there with confidence of getting a result as they are nothing special. That said I think it will be a tight game its got extra time and pens all over it

The match timing should be taken away from the ref, a separate official time keeper in the stands who stops the clock for injuries, substitutions and any other incidents etc, that would ensure we get the regulation 45 mins of actual play each half, would also put a stop to time wasting etc.

Lennon Miller for me took his goal well and should have had another, he had a great game. Special mention for Souare he looked a lot faster and sharper than last week, likes to get forward.

A 3-0 win against a team that never looked like troubling us with 11 men never mind 10, 3 teenagers on the Park and playing well, winning the group and seeded for the last 16 draw a very comfortable win. The seeding is for one reason only, ie to make sure the ugly sisters don't get drawn against each other, before the semi finals at least. The whole format for the league cup is nonsense, it should be back to a standard cup draw, no seedings and spread the games out over the season.

He was badly advised to move to Leeds at the age he did, as you say he was never getting anywhere near the Leeds team, yes he has made a few quid but at the cost of his football development and regular game time. He needs to get his career back on track but that's not at Fir Park so I hope he gets a club and a chance elsewhere.

That could be a good move for him as his game time with us was going to be very limited if any at all, may also free up some cash to bring in another striker.

The pitch was not replaced during the close season this year, it looked in excellent shape to me. Viewed from the POD, for me it's one of the best surfaces in the league now.

My main concern Dave was our lack of threat up front, the Queens Park defence is brutal, especially the big number 5 they had playing and the Keeper. Obika the less said about his miss the better, and he got out of Jail with his deflected goal he has no pace and looks like he is towing a caravan every time he runs. Wilkinson is the same for someone his Size he never put any pressure on the keeper, looked slow and generally contributed nothing. If we start the season with those two as our main strikers I have the fear as that partnership won't generate very many goals, I hope I'm wrong but I worry that unless we get a goal scorer in soon we are going to struggle big time.

McFadden was on a completely different level to Moult in all aspects so deserves to be on the high pedestal, as for Moult he had a good spell with us lots of important goals and a really nice guy but truth be told he was a bang average footballer.
