Remember the Celtic team in the 80's and 90's was brutal, light years away from what they have now, they only got their act together after wee Fergus mccann saved them and the investment cash from the likes of dermot Desmond started flowing in
-
Thompson was a feking wank of a man, he had an agenda against us, that said its Celtic even today VAR would check that and agree with the ref.
-
For me the best result against them ever was skippy Sunday, they thought the league was won and they fecked it up, the sight of thousands of green and white clad greetin faces all over Fir Park will never be forgotten a classic GIRUY moment.
-
Now that we can't make top 6, and the usual suspects are in meltdown predicting relegation etc, this is the kind of game where we could surprise everyone and get a positive result, it won't happen though its a nailed on home win, but as you say keep it tight and preserve the healthy Goal difference over the bottom 3.
-
RC are at Hearts, who are on a terrible run but I can't see past a home win, likewise killie at at St.Mirren who playing well just now and Killies away record is brutal another home win. Dundee untd at home to Livi is the only dodgy one, untd have some momentum after 2 wins and Livi still have a shout at top 6 so for me that's a draw. Yes all of the bottom 3 could win just as we could at Celtic but it's not going to happen so I can't see us losing much ground if any at all.
-
We are currently 8 points clear of 11th and 9 clear of 12th ( effectively 9 and 10 points with our goal difference). That's 3 or 4 games killie and RC need to win out of 6 games left and us to take zero points from said 4 matches, 3 of which are against the bottom 6 teams and given the bottom 3 need to play each other so they cant all win,its not going to happen ie we are safe so the WTF response was fully justified.
-
You really can't help talking utter shite can you, anonymous for weeks when we were winning and hey presto 1 poor result and you're all over the thread,it's feckin laughable 🤦♂️
-
If Hibs hold on to their 1-0 lead to beat Hearts then our top 6 ambitions are over for this season so we can concentrate on securing safety before the split with a win today.
-
Maybe it's just the simple fact that SK does not rate him and/or he does not fit in to the style of play he wants us to play, he will be off back to Leeds soon anyway as I can't see him getting any significant game time in the last 7 matches.
-
I know it was a limited run but it sold out very quickly when it was released, so quite a few people must like it, I did but was not quick enough to get one.
-
I seriously don't think he is fully fit, he looked like he was towing a caravan every time he ran, slower than a week in the jail.

The Admins are there to ensure that there are no comments or statements of a Racist, LGBTG, Sectarian, libellous nature, and generally to call a halt to debate when discussions start to get personal and nasty, ie threatening behaviour etc, not to warn everybody that's says "feck off" As you say forums are about opinions, so the Admin telling someone "to feck off, and that he/she is a roaster" etc is their opinion so where's the problem? Your posts do imply that you perceive yourself as a victim, "I've been pulled up so why is the Admin/ any other poster not being sanctioned " sort of thing. I would agree if both incidents were for the same thing but if not it just looks like whining and bearing a grudge.

Binning Neilson was a feckin ridiculous decision, yes they are on a bad run, but they are only 2 pts off 3rd with 7 games left and an Edinburgh Derby to come on Saturday. Unless there are other issues we don't know about Neilson had plenty of time to turn it round. Hearts still think they are a bigger club than they are, so I can't see them going for managers like Robinson or Kettlewell especially not at this point in the season, they will bring in Levein or someone like that to see the season out so they deserve all they get.
-
Agreed, we are Currently 9 and 11 points clear of 11th and 12th place respectively, effectively 10 and 12 pts given the goal difference, so thats 4 or 5 games to make up that gap, neither RC or Untd or Kille for that matter are going to get 4/5 wins in a row and we get nothing from the last 7 games.
-
At the tail end of Hammells term KVV and a few other players were no good and lazy, the tools well and truly dropped. All miraculously recovered under SK though, hence our change in fortunes.
-
For me Daws is nothing more than a scout hawking players to any club who will take them. If Motherwell feel they need a head of recruitment etc then that person should be based at the club full time, know the players, set up etc and identify players that they think will fit our system and improve on what we have.
-
They are like Kilmarnock they get the vast majority of their points at home due to the horrible shitey plastic pitches they both play on, so it's a good home win on Saturday and another 3 points for us to help secure safety before the split.
-
You always want to finish as high up the league as you can ie top 6 for financial gain and a shot at a European place, as brutal a season as we've had we are only 12 points off 3rd and guaranteed European group stage football ffs given the standard in the SPL outwith the ugly sisters. But I take your point finishing 7th would probably be more beneficial to the club as a whole to have the team properly organised and prepared For next season, and save us further Euro embarrassment as well 🙂
-
3 games left before the split, 9 points will give us a very very slim chance of a top 6 finish, so going for a home win to keep the momentum going.
-
I watched it on BBC Alba last night, Marshall was airborne studs 1st, and took out the Motherwell player hip high, nowhere near the ball so no attempt to play it, the tackle was reckless and dangerous as clear a penalty and Red card as you will ever see.
-
Full game on BBC Alba just now
-
For me Dave that statement says, "we've not been overwhelmed with interest in the job" but I'll give the board the benefit of the doubt and assume they are carrying out proper due diligence etc to ensure the get the right individual in post to take the club forward or, just promote an existing club employee like they usually do.
-
That's the main problem in England the finances are unsustainable the premiership teams paying ridiculous amounts of wages each week and its the same in every other league, remember a few seasons ago, non league at the time Salford City were allegedly paying Adam Rooney 5k a week ffs. God knows how clubs like that survive yes they probably have bigger crowds than some Scottish Premiership teams but most of the clubs must be hanging by a thread, they probably all have rich owners but even then there has to be limits.
-
As Clarke has just signed a new contract till 2026 its only going to get worse, and a lot of homegrown talent won't get a sniff at international level with him the whole SFA set up stinks, Scotland won't be qualifying for the Euro's or the next World Cup with him in charge.
-
That statement has the makings of a counter Tifo display from the grumpy auld gits amongst the support, would be a class banner tbf 😁.
