Killie were never creeping Into that game they were feckin brutal from the 1st minute, 2-0 up against 10 men, the game was won until we fecked it up, not a Killie player near mcginn, the ball was heading out and he decides to head it wtf was he doing, as for their 2nd a good hit from Polwarth but ffs Kelly should be saving those, so 2 points dropped against a team that deserved feck all. That's at least 7 points we have lost that we should have had this season, that would have us joint 3rd, absolutely shocking from us tonight, no wonder we are heading for a relegation fight.

The main problem is the way the game is run in Scotland, the SFA /SPFL and every other body that has a say is not fit for purpose, in term of world football Scotland are a Diddy nation and they fail to realise that. We have guys from clubs like Brechin ffs having a Say in how football is run, all they want is a seat on the plane for international trips expenses paid and big match tickets for them and all their pals. Unless we get a structure in place fit for 21st century football with proper youth development, investment in training and coaching, help for the clubs, use of new technology, etc the game in his country will go nowhere.

Shay logan, ex Aberdeen right back now at Cove Rangers was training to be a plumber he could be a useful signing, or we could re-sign Ellis plumber https://www.phamnews.co.uk/footballer-eyes-career-as-a-plumber/

We are destined for a bottom 6, 9th place finish apparently according to the computer geeks employed by the SPFL Scottish Premiership: How does data suggest the top flight will unfold? - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/63974438

A great initiative by the club, building on the excellent work it already does supporting mental health and other charities in Lanarkshire and beyond, a club to be truly proud of. And I actually quite like the strip a nice one off change and much better than the last black effort we rolled out, that said I have a couple of issues, 1. It should be available without the sponsors logo. ( as should all replica kit) 2. I'm still not keen on the MFC script But I'll probably still buy one

I admit I was all in favour of VAR being introduced to Scotland but having seen it in operation I am not convinced it does anything to improve the game, especially with the bargin basement shite system we have. The disallowed French goal was a feckin joke, 2nd phase of play, ball headed back to Griezeman by the Tunisian player and they disallowed it ffs. So for me I would ditch it, as I can see no improvement or benefit to football in general from it.

Scotland will go nowhere with Clarke in charge, he's a clueless fud, every squad he picks is filled with 6 or 7 players he has no intention of playing, so it's the same core players failing time after time. He has players like Campbell, Turnbull, and Kelly available but never get a look in its a disgrace.

No excuses for that attempt at humour, even allowing for the age you need to be to get it, Grizzlyg's job is safe

Spot on, we are all assuming that the academy squad is full of players ready to step up to the 1st team, we will be lucky if we get two who make the step up and Hammell will know who they are. As somebody once said you win nothing with kids, and unless we have another group of players as talented as the class of 92, the same will happen to us. The academy players who are good enough will get their chance at some point.

I know our record is shite, but the point is our record is not any better or worse than most of the other 10 teams in the premiership nobody beats them on a regular basis apart from the green arse cheek. The embarrassing truth is that generally they are a better team than us, the playoff and league cup semi sides we faced being the exception so there is no shame in losing to a better team. Granted I would like a few more wins especially in the league but I don't get stressed about it, as our record is no different to any of the other non ugly sisters teams that face them.

In all honesty playing the game on the 23rd is a much better option, Christmas eve should be a family day ,last minute shopping, sorting out the dinner, running about daft with a list the length of your arm etc so lads just think how many brownie points you will get by agreeing to dedicate Christmas eve to the wife/ girlfriend/ boyfriend etc instead of ditching them to watch Motherwell
-
Do they count for league points, we need a wee boost

I find that hard to believe tbh, the South stand has 5000 seats and to me it did not look like there was another 1000 fans in there from my view in the pod it looked like everybody had a seat. As for the fake tickets, once a QR code is scanned it can't be scanned again so copied tickets etc won't be valid, and your average green ugly does not have the technical ability to generate a new valid Code, even if it was possible to do do. So for me rumours like that are a lot of shite.

We had a draw at ibrox last season when woolery scored and a draw at Fir park a couple of seasons before that when Hartley scored late on, so we get the unexpected results, and if you add in the playoff finals, League cup semi etc we do as well as other teams.
-
Have to agree with that, maybe the change of manager has brought out the best in him, but I always liked him and wish we still had him as currently we have no options for midfield
-
Have a look at yourself, you really are an arsehole but if the constant trolling makes your Saturday night then fill yer boots

Do you honestly think the other 10 teams in the league records against the uglies is any better than ours , its not so its not just a Motherwell thing , the uglies don't lose and/or draw many games over a season so almost all of the other teams record against them is as dire as ours over the years. There are the unexpected wins and draws for the other teams every season but nobody else does consistently well against them year after year .
-
That may be the case but given the size of our squad they are the probably the best 3 midfielders currently at the club, so thats why they are the 1st pick each week.

Just watched him in the game against Hamilton tonight, he's a big unit, good on the ball and seems to be scoring lots for Ayr, so he might be worth a punt but depends on what sort of contract he is on and given he is their main goal threat Ayr won't want to lose him so might be difficult to deal with.

I see on the BBC gossip page this morning that the green uglies are whining about the Jota incident, and " seeking clarification " from the SFA. As I suspected every VAR incident that goes against the uglies green or blue, the usual media shit storm is generated, but nobody gives a feck about dodgy decisions affecting the other 10 teams all this "we are always the victims " attitude they constantly have is a feckin nonsense as they know the SFA is shit scared of upsetting either of them and do feck all. No wonder Scottish football is a joke given the influence those 2 have on our game at the expense of the other 40 clubs. Every goal is checked and if the start of the play that led to the goal, ie the Celtic player heading the ball illegally to a team mate and 2 passes later its in the net, then the goal should not have stood. It's no different to commiting a foul on a player then 2 passes later your team scores, it is a clear and obvious error and that's what VAR is there for that's their remit allegedly. The illegal throw in was a clear and obvious error that led to a goal so it should not have stood. If Celtic had not scored from it nobody would give a toss, but they did and thats why it should have been disallowed.
-
That was my thoughts as well , I was all for it naively believing it would improve the standard of refereeing, but a few weeks in and its obvious it has not improved anything. Technology is only as good as the people using it and in Scotland the standard was woeful to start with, also given the speed with which VAR was introduced I think Scotland got the bargin basement version with limited camera's etc . So if you add this to the incompetence of the operators its no surprise we are seeing errors week in week out.
-
it's not going to be deliberate cheating so that just leaves incompetence or not checking properly, given the bargin basement VAR we got I suspect they never had a camera on it, either way its unacceptable.
