For me it's a combination of bargin basement technology that's not fit for purpose, poor quality officials and and poor quality training. Add to that the "we never do anything wrong" attitude and unaccountability of the SFA/SPFL and it's a complete shit show. VAR was sold as addressing 'clear and obvious errors" to improve the game, not the actively looking for reasons to disallow goals scenario we now have.
