Usual answer then bullshit post with nothing to back it up, at least you are consistent.
-
So who should we be targeting then thats got lots of premiership experience, plays well and is in our price range, feel free to share your wisdom
-
Aye could be the old biggus slopeious settlement it went downhill fast after the Romans left, the pitch is named after it.
-
I would like to think that the club took the dates of the Euro games into account when the contract for the new pitch was agreed, to ensure that the pitch was ready just in case we qualified.

A Check on this site for the Q2 team list states the seeding are unseeded < 5.420, seeded > 6.500) Motherwells current co-efficient is 7.38 so we will be seeded in Q2 If we get through to Q3 we won't be seeded as the coefficients are unseeded < 8.000, seeded > 10.500)

Being a pessimist is an essential requirement to follow Motherwell always assume the worst and then you will never be disappointed

I think he is from Erskine so west central Scotland is home, don't think there would be any issues in that department.
-
Highland teams..the bulk of his Career has been with Queens Park and Partick Thistle, and he's been a regular starter For Ross county scored 4 or 5 goals from midfield so it's not as if we are taking a punt on some random player from a Highland league team. For me he would be an upgrade on most of the midfield we have at the moment.
-
We can't sign a player with lots of experience from another Premiership club..no no no. the model is bring someone in from English lower / non league obscurity or Ireland etc then have a healthy debate about how they are not up to it and don't meet the standards required.
-
Call yourself a prophet.....you forgot that all of the new signings will be written off as shit and not up to premiership standard before they have set foot in Fir Park.
-
Why would they say anything the subject has never came up since the Rangers fiasco, remember it was Aberdeen who sided with the green uglies to scupper the vote, every other club including us wanted to change it to a simple majority a big chance missed.
-
Would take Ricky Lamie, he's good
-
Seriously why would any well fan want to go to that shitehole to be treated like shite by the stewards, and mingle with the great unwashed as they have their title party, let them get on with it and save your cash.

I have a simple outlook on games, irrespective of how you play, if you score more goals than your opponent you deserve to win, nobody ever remembers how good or Bad a team played its the result they talk about. If we go to Parkhead on Saturday and get battered for 89 mins play utter crap and then go up the park in the 90th min and sneak a winner not 1 Motherwell fan will give a feck. I agree with you that a re-shuffle is required in the summer to strengthen the team but let's enjoy a successful season and another year in the premiership.
-
Yes the standard outwith the top 3 is very poor but over the season as shite as we were the team picked up enough points at crucial times, Ibrox, St Mirren, Livingston etc to keep us in the hunt for the top 6 and Europe while others failed and as the results from the last 2 games show we came good when it mattered. 1 game to go and we could still finish 4th which for me would be a great achievement considering how we have performed, so let's give GA and the players some credit and hope we can build on this over the summer on the hopefully extended European tour .
-
The Rangers team in the playoff games is not a good example, as they were utter shite a school team would have given them a game, plus remember how bad we were under Barraclough that landed us in the playoff spot in the 1st place.
-
There are some good teams in the conference league by Q3 and the playoff round most of the dross has been eliminated. So to make the group stages we have 6 games to get through, only 4 if we finish 4th so it will be a tough ask if we are not seeded.
-
The Euro draws in the qualifying rounds are all regionalised these days so it could be a Welsh or Irish team we get so no travel hassles there.
-
Seems Alan Campbell has been more of a hit with the Luton players and fans than we thought https://www.lutontoday.co.uk/sport/football/luton-town/town-duo-campbell-and-naismith-win-big-at-lutons-end-of-season-awards-night-3685668

We have an excellent chance of catching untd, they are at Ibrox tomorrow and then they are at home to Celtic on Wednesday so it's very unlikely they will get any points from those 2 games. So potentially if we beat hearts we could be 2 points ahead of them with 1 game left.
-
So what benefit will the club get then ? Or is it just your usual shite patter with nothing constructive to back it up
-
What benefit will the club get if they sack him then?
-
KVV. Yaaaaaaaaaas get in there
-
Take away the dodgy non penalty they got at Fir park and we would probably have had the Euro place sorted by now.

When are people going to realise that from a squad of maybe 15 reserve players/ colts/development whatever they are called these days we will be lucky to get 2 or 3 that will make the step up to the 1st team, the rest won't be good enough. People seem to think they should be played irrespective of their readiness and/or ability to do so , that's not how it works. Motherwell have an excellent record of "giving youth a chance" Turnbull, Hastie, McGuire, Cornelius, Johnson, to name a few in recent years not every one makes it, but to say they never get a chance is just wrong, if they are good enough they will.
