That's a shocker a fully trained and UEFA licensed pro coach, ex player with lots of experience in football not listening to what the fans think about his tactics and player choices each week, where will it end
-
St Mirren currently beating Rangers 1-0 and looking good for it, moves us down to 7th Normal service resumed now 2-1 Rangers
-
I doubt I'll see him, he's not playing for a league side last heard of at Chorley fc, National league North
-
Aye I'm following Craig Clay around the country, ok then eventually I'll see all of the ex well players at whatever club they're at now, so let me know your favourites and I'll keep you posted
-
Not at all mate, just being honest I'm enjoying it as well.
-
I know it's childish and immature but it's harmless fun life would be boring if we all liked the same things, but its stimulated a much more healthy debate than just talking about Tony Watt as per the thread title
-
Aye the standard was not the best, on a par with Scotland v Faroe Islands the other week, least I had a couple of decent goals to liven it up, oh and the steak pies were awesome.
-
Correct, was at Barrow last week watching them play Orient, in League 2 great day out ex well player Craig Clay still looks a decent player for Orient. Each to their own and for me that's not going to international games, still loads of grounds to visit.
-
Nah I am as much a proud scot as anyone but I never could get into all the Tartan Army and "were on the march with Ally,s army " stuff never been to a Scotland game in my life and have seen nothing in the current team that would encourage me to go and see them. I put my efforts into following Motherwell and finishing off my bucket list item to watch a match at every league ground in the UK, all 134 of them, probably about 30% complete now.
-
From the SPFL rules I28 A section of the ground must be reserved for supporters of the Visiting Club and any tickets for League Matches and Play-Off Matches must be distributed on that basis. Details of these arrangements should be publicised by the Clubs concerned in advance. No specific numbers or percentage mentioned

Just back from the game, we offered nothing and got what we deserved ie nothing, but that said Kelly was well at fault For the 1st goal and could do nothing about Turnbulls goal, that was a beauty but apart from that he never had a serious save to make. For all Celtics possession they created very few if any serious chances they were average at best but we never pressed or tested them so we could have done a lot better, we gave them an easy ride. Not saying we would have got anything from the game, but we never tested their suspect defence and for me that's the disappointing thing. But we are still top six and only six points off the top so it's going well.
-
Correct should have saved that one, no excuse for getting beat at your near post from that range.
-
So classing me as a religious bigot for not being like you and having an interest in how well Scotland do is not slagging off......OK then. As for me talking shite.. does expressing a different opinion to yours, or not having any interest in how Scotland perform qualify, I think not. But you fill your boots being the perfect patriot and football fan the rest of us will just be ordinary fans.
-
So if you support Motherwell but don't follow the national team or particularly care if they win or lose your not interested in football, don't talk shite. Unless your French, Belgian, German,Spanish, English, Italian, Brazilian or any other top side, most international football is turgid shite and not worth watching which is exactly the category the Scotland game fell into on Wednesday. Club football is more exciting, and entertaining than the predictable dross served up every 2 years or so for Euro or World Cup qualifying. So if you want to wear your kilt, cat boots and a daft Tartan hat and follow Scotland and Motherwell then go for it but don't slag off or talk shite about those football fans who are not interested in all the Tartan Army stuff.
-
No explanation required, its Motherwell and club football only for me, never have followed Scotland even when we were regular qualifiers for tournaments with a decent team, and as i have said i think the current team is brutal, many others dont as is their choice so fair play to them.
-
1st sentence there probably confirmed my last post "pointing out using stats" so anyone taking the time to go through an ugly sisters game minute by minute for a detailed breakdown of fouls by 1 player that never resulted in a card to back up a claim of alleged bias by referees is just interested and not weirdly obsessed? OK then.
-
Nah no debating required I just dont give a feck about anything to do with the ugly sisters or the strange obsession some people seem to have with them.
-
An attention to detail and whataboutery worthy of the follow follow and Kerrydale St conspiracy forums themselves, but not on here.
-
Steve Clarke is hopeless he won't bring anyone in he will give Kevin Nisbet a start, all this nonsense to only get to the playoffs to get pumped by a better team, Scotland are brutal.
-
For those stats to make any sense all the fouls for every team would need to be the same ie bad enough to warrant a yellow or red card, however in the real world we know not every foul warrants a card, so quoting stats like "fouls per card " is just nonsense
-
The transfer window only applies to transfers between clubs, so as his Motherwell contract has been cancelled he is now a free agent with no club and can therefore sign for any other club he likes at any time.
-
There is no such thing as a bad single malt whisky, you just like some a bit more than others
-
what an attitude have a look at yourself ffs
-
Every striker would do the same, we would not be complaining if it had been Watt or KVV than won the pen, hopefully if and when Scotland starts using VAR the dodgy penalties, diving etc will be eliminated from the game.
-
Watched the whole game Celtic are average at best, keep the service to Jota and Furuhashi to a minimum and they will struggle to create anything. Defensively they are brutal especially the centre half's plus Joe Hart has at least 1 or 2 mistakes per game in him. Getting our midfield sorted and organised is the key to getting a result against them ie not playing 4-3-3 , they are very beatable, so we need to get right in about them from the start.
