Of those 3 Montrose are the best side, Clyde only just avoided the playoff and possible relegation to the Lowland League, which is where Edinburgh City are heading if they stay in business long enough as they are brutal, a team of teenagers. The only thing you can take from Clyde scoring 5 is how bad EC must be. We will win the group, we might not get one of the seeded spots but that's par for the course for us, avoid the ugly sisters and Hearts and it's game on against any of the rest.

With you on that, same as the home kit another decent strip ruined by unnecessary embellishments, 2 simple claret and Amber strips on the sleeves would have been sufficient. All you see when you look at the strip are the in your face tartan armbands, very tacky.

Purely on that measure alone, you are probably correct, however our fan base if properly motivated to maximise as many members as it can, develop new revenue streams etc will enable the WS to step up and become more hands on if you like to ensure proper governance at the club going forward. This will ensure that any future investment offers will be considered in a much better position for the club than the shambles of recent weeks. I was never a fan of the WS for various reasons but I will probably now sign up and commit to see if real fan ownership can be realised

Just back in from the game, we were hopeless tonight, dominated possession against a team with 11 behind the ball at all times and we created nothing. 2 games, 4 goals all from defenders, playing 1 up front is a nonsense, we seem to be back to the dark days of last seasons winless run, absolutely no serious goal threat. You could see montrose growing g in confidence for about 10 mins before they scored and all they did was kick it long and get into the box and we could not cope with it, Oxborough's finger tips stopping another goal but we continued to sit back and never learned the lesson. I looked at the match stats, we had 11 shots with only 2 on target, Montrose had 2 shots and 2 on target ffs. SK needs a big reaction from the team on Saturday, the lone striker approach is not working, neither Robinson or Ebiye can do it so maybe Stuparavic alongside one of them might work. If not I hope we have another striker incoming.

Fair enough every day is a school day.

I see Devante Cole has been released by Barnsley, we could use some of the Bair cash to temp him back to Fir Park as his replacement. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cv20gvkerzko

The crowds we get are irrelevant, a fully seated 10K minimum capacity stadium is a ground requirement for playing in the premiership, so that's why we need 10K seats.

I'm sure Almondvale aka the Tony macaroni arena was built a lot cheaper than the "Lego" stands as you put it. That would be an ideal size for us.
-
£1.4 million plus add ons is a brilliant bit of business for a player that cost us very little. So the final amount for Bair could be just about what Barmack wanted to invest over 6 years ffs
-
It seems we might be getting more money for Bair than has previously been reported according to SK https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cnk4wdkv3zlo

I reckon most people would not bother if we left Fir Park, as long as the new Stadium was easy to get to, had great facilities, some car parking adjacent to it and the Stadium was completely enclosed, like almondvale only better. Oh and it was not a generic 4 stands, open corners design.

Totally agree Dave, it's long overdue an upgrade or replacement, my biggest gripes about it are seats covered in bird muck that never seem to get cleaned and the turnstiles that are about 50 or 60 years past their sell by date.

A brilliant bit of business for us if it's true.

Nobody is arguing with the concept of offside, it's the interpretation of it with the new technology that's the problem. Big toes, knees etc millimetres offside, that's impossible to judge if that was correct t when the ball was kicked, it's ruining the game and fan experience big time. Also if VAR is here to stay it should apply at all levels of professional football and not only top flight games, euro competition and internationals etc. It was sold as only being used for clear and obvious errors that the onfield officials missed etc and not the forensic examination of every goal, offside, possible penalty etc that we are seeing now looking for reasons to disallow them.
-
You watch Love Island, 🤦♂️ok then.
-
That's just as bad, Lukakus big toe nail deemed offside in Belgiums game the other week, how can that be 100% accurate to determine the position at the moment the ball was kicked. And if offsides are going to be judged in millimetres now then the beautiful game is truly fecked.
-
My biggest gripe with VAR is that they now seem to be actively looking for reasons to disallow goals, yet they still spout the "we only get involved for clear and obvious errors " pish. Tell me how spending 3 or 4 mins looking at an incident from every angle, slow motion, frame by frame etc, and drawing fancy lines on a screen to register someone off side by millimetres, is clear and obvious. The whole set up is ruining the game and needs binned.

I doubt we could afford his wages, another English Championship side or possibly EFL League 1 is a more likely destination.
-
Here's hoping that's the case.
-
I'd rather have him commenting than some of those used in the Euros, especially the women, and in particular the American one who seems to think she is an expert on VAR and tries to justify some of the ridiculous decisions we've seen this tournament.
-
Watson and Miller should be playing in the senior squad instead of some of the dross Clarke selects.
-
Another 2 goals from Ebiye tonight, it's 3-2 to Motherwell
-
Less qualified than the current chairman and other board members given the amateur hour performance from them in recent weeks, that's a bold statement.
-
We are currently 1-0 up in tonight's game away at Linlithgow Rose, Lennon Miller penalty.
