New ideas, that would no doubt be telling the players of that era, they needed to train twice a day, 4 or 5 days a week, eat well , drink less etc. Ideas that were totally alien to players of that era, but are now expected as the minimum standard.

Why would we want him in the 1st place, weve been down the scottish manager route, and decided we want something better to move the club forward, oh and for me hes not that good a manager. A few good seasons and got a top 6 finish this year but after the season weve had can you really see the board appointing him, no feckin chance.

If the match is approaching full time and there is a penalty awarded or Var check for a penalty the game time is extended until that process is complete ie Var check over or penalty taken and the ball stops moving ie hitting the net or crossbar, crowd etc at that moment if its over the alloted added time if any the game is over. So as much ad it pains me to say, Beaton actually got that part correct, as the game was over when the ball hit the net so before the pitch invasion.

I hope the club carry on in the same way for the next manager as they did when they brought in Wimmer and JBA, fresh ideas and methods, and aligning with the boards views on taking the club forward etc. As we have seen in recent years appointing someone from the Scottish failed managers merry go round only results in eye bleeding football and dissapointment.

If Celtic meet or better the reportted £3 million price tag we have put on Watt, and the player wants to go and accepts the no doubt vastly improved personal terms on offer then he will be away to Celtic, thats how it works.

Its always better to be seeded and play a lower ranked team, its a cup comprtition so for me progression is the main objective, and not a one off glamour tie. Reaching the group stages for Motherwell would be brilliant, so anything that eases our path is welcome.

As with Wimmer and Askou the next manager will be someone who we have never heard of, probably no experience of the Scottish game, and in general all the excellent qualities JBA had that gave us such a great season.

Dissapointed JBA is gone, as we prepare for Europe but it was always going to happen. Hes away to a bigger club, bigger and better resources, more money for players and no doubt a massive wage increase so who can blame him. We move on, onwards and upwards and ive no doubt the board will appoint another manager who will carry on what JBA started and take the team forward.

When i saw that i naturally thought JBA or his agent must have applied for the post but i have little faith in the online rumours, or AI generated nonsense. For me if true at best its a list of 3 managers allegedly Toulouse would like to talk to, if they get permission from existing clubs etc, but so far theres been a distinct whiff of keech from all of these so called "facts".

Spot on, its the people running the club that are responsible for recruiting a manager who aligns with their views on how they want the team to play, the development of the club and players, fan engagement and financial goals to name a few. So if JBA does leave then given the changes we have seen this season im confident that whoever takes over will continue where he left off and take the club forward.
