Dunno bout false teeth but i seen a steward find a wallet with a tenner in it. Got to ask cause i'm not sure how the loan system works but if we lose Anier or Ainsworth ( fucking hope we don't mind you ) could we get that young keeper on loan till the end of the season ?
-
What a performance !! Everybody in black today were amazing, best away performance i've seen in the flesh for years But if i had to pick somebody it would be Faddy, some lovely touches, assists, lobbing the keeper and was even chasing back defending ! If he can play like that on a regular basis from now on Aberdeen and United will be shitting it in the race for 2nd.
-
It would be a painful sight to see Murphy in a Hibs top but his career has stalled so i wouldn't blame him for going just to get some game time again.
-
BBC is claiming we will even get some sunshine tomorrow.
-
The last game i went to at Firhill was a 3-0 defeat i'm sure, in fact i think it is one of the SPL classic games on youtube.
-
When i've seen Thistle this year they defiantly look a better side than the others in the bottom 6 in my opinion. All they miss is a goalscoring striker although Doolan does seem to be slowly finding his feet in the top league. That all being said i'm confident if we play to our best we'll be too much for them. I'll say 3-1 Well Sutton (2) and Anier.
-
That is a very interesting league table. We are in a good run of form while the sheep seem to be stuttering a bit and it will be interesting to see how United react to a heavy defeat against one of the poorer sides in the league. If we can win at Firhill it will really put pressure on our rivals which might in turn make them buckle under the pressure of chasing us. Good times to be a Well fan again , i can't wait to go to Partick on sunday !
-
Absolutely brilliant result !! I really fancied us for a smash and grab 3 points and it seems to have been the way it panned out. 2nd in the league and away to Partick on sunday, i can't wait for it now bring it on !!

I'm putting some dosh on big Sutton first goal 13/2. Great price and we will win up there. I'm actually going to bet every underdog in the SPL tomorrow, Motherwell, St Johnstone, St Mirren, Partick, County and Hearts.
-
Aberdeen are missing 2 of their regular back 4 in Reynolds and Considine, i think this is an opportunity for a smash and grab 3 points winning it by the odd goal. 2-1 Well Sutton double but with a nervy ending while the sheep dominate the last 10 mins.

To the lads who were actually at the game i was wondering how Kello played against us ? Given our goalkeeper situation isn't great at the moment do you think Kello would be worth pursuing in the summer when his saints deal runs out ?
-
With their home attendances plummeting there was no way they would ban them for a serious length of time. As every week passes there are more and more empty green and white seats at the San Giro so banning fans who have a lot of sway with a number of ordinary Celtic scarfers is not good business on their part. I'm by no way sticking up for the club or the fucking simpletons known as the green brigade but from a business point of view i understand it. Will be interesting to see how they are policed at the next away game.

I predicted the correct score today but was way off with the goal scorers. Great result especially with a trip to the sheep midweek, wasn't at the game today due to work but its great to hear nothing but good reports from lads who were there. I hope we can keep this good spell of form going cause i can't make the sheep game but i'm going to Partick and really looking forward to it. Anyway well done to McCall and the lads for today. Happy days are here again
-
Same as above i'm disappointed to see how keen McCall is to keep Anier and Ainsworth. Even if the club say there is enough funds for loans i think we should at least be looking to see what other options are out there.

An Airdrie fan i work with said Hollis once got a 5 match ban when playing with them cause he spat on an Accies fan. I know thats fuck all to do with his form or ability just thought i'd share the story.

Safe Standing At Fir Park, Do We Want It Back ?
Judge Jules replied to Spiderpig's topic in Club Chat
Simple answer is yes bring it back. -
I think after watching the 2nd half of our game at County Lennon will fancy his chances, i think he might ditch the sit in and counter attack approach and just have a go at us. Wouldn't be surprised if McCall is working on counter attack drills most of this week. If that is the case i'd expect to see ZFA and/or Ainsworth getting a start.

January will be the decisive month for our season. We play 4 top 6 teams St Johnstone - home, ICT - home, Sheep - home and a trip to the San Giro in the east end. We also have a trip to Tynecastle in amongst that. After we play those games and are into the start of February we'll know where we stand for the rest of the season.
-
Its another game thats hard to predict. If we put aside the fact our recent record against them is not great if we play near our best we'll win cause lets be honest St Mirren are shite !! That being said if we don't show up then they could leave with at least a point. We have been on a poor run of form but grinding out that win at Dingwall shows that we have some fight left in us. I actually really fancy us for this game 3-0 Motherwell (Sutton, McManus, Vigurs) Come on ye Well.
-
I've got to ask the lads who were at the game yesterday did County have as many good chances as Adams is making out ? Just read in the paper he reckons they should have pumped us the same as Celtic did, just wondering if he's been eating sour grapes or does he have a point ?
-
And just a mention to the Well fans who made the trip today (i didnae) that was a great effort ! When you make that long of a journey and deal with what this unpredictable Well side dishes out, thats class. Just seen brief highlights on sky sports news and the giro dome seemed to have alot of fans disguised as green and white seats. Best fans in the world ?? Not now ! Not ever ! Motherwell till i die.
-
I'm 100% confident we will be top 6 team come the split. I know as does every Well fan we've been through a very grim month, fucked at home by United, that cup game and gubbed by glory hunters fc, but we are still at this moment in time comfortably in the top 6 and in striking distance of the sheep and united. I'm not saying it will be that way come the end of the season but think back to the start of the season when Aberdeen were throwing about stupid money on wages (Wylde, Zola, Robson and thats just the new signings) and Fenlon spent £250,000 transfer fees on Collins and Heffernan plus wage bill i'd be happy to be where we are right now. Nobody who isn't associated with United would have seen their team coming this year so in the grand scheme of things in the league we're not too shabby. Bring on St Mirren !
-
I've been stuck in work all day so the only thing i can go by is the BBC website match report, its basically said we were good in the first half but by the end of the game we were clinging on while County missed a number of chances. I obviously can't comment on performances but the result is massive ! It stops the rot and the gap between the top and bottom 6 is growing by the week which looks good for us. Seeing big Sutton back amongst the goals is great as well i just hope this can be the start of the turnaround. It will be a big ask to keep pace with the bigger squads and bigger budgets of Aberdeen and United but if we can get some momentum going and start picking up results against top 6 teams you never know what can happen.
-
Went on the County forum earlier and they are basically saying the same as us, playing shite at the moment not happy with the summer signings expecting a hard game but see us as a good opportunity to bounce back after a poor run of form. I think some County fans have been calling for Derek Adams to go as well. At least we're not the only disgruntled fans in the SPL right now.

Sorry NottsMFC but asking Frank Roy to do anything that could in any way hurt Celtic Football Club is a massive no no. He has previous as a massive Celtic fan lets just say that. Being the MP in one of the safest Labour seats in the UK suits him down to the ground. He won't help us in the slightest.
