  1. Yep 76-0 is pushing it, closer to 18-0 I think
  2. Quality quote between the posters after the article " Listen 'Paul Dixon', I know that these messages are a hoax. In an earlier post you said that Gary Kenneth loves to read about United legends - we all know that Gary Kenneth can't read."
  3. Yep steelboy i know a hell of a lot of ex amateurs and juniors who went onto become good grade 3-2 whistlers but refused to go further because they just didnt fancy all the crap that went with level 1 refs. Windows getting put in, getting followed home, death threats etc..and a terrible governing body who hang refs out to dry and dont back them in any way.
  4. absolute bollocks ex players...seriously..!! you are deluding yourself. Can you imagine a scottidh cup final between the old firm refereered by someone like Terry Butcher...fuck off non starter. can you imagine the can of worms that would open up it would send the game into freefall. can you imagine the paranoia of Celtic fans then. I know you say it may not be ex SPL players but the thought of an ex professional player being a ref is a non starter And do you seriously think a player would be remotely neutral if 'his' team was playing in a crucial game and he had the final say in a last minute penalty decision. Fantasy land and I for one would be the first to be in the No queue and quite vociferous about it. The game is bad enough without ex professionals being refs. Would lead to all sorts of bother in the terracing if there was even a hint of favouritism from one of the old boys
  5. Nice to see the Well support standing and cheering to a man for each of the subs...well done guys great support. Guys will be buzzing in the dressing room
  6. Yes, but it is the Motherwell support, we are as changeable as the weather. Cloud 9 just now, superb considering how threadbare the squad is.
  7. Seems Utd have been asked to impose themselves physically on the game more if the start of the 2nd half is anything to go by. Think our boys will be getting kicked all over the park this half
  8. Just shows how much Jennings means to this squad, hope we can keep him
  9. Was rushed into hospital day before with a burst appendix, my seat at Hampden was empty. Was unconcious on the day of the game
  10. I note that he has dropped the forever claret and amber part of his email
  11. Can I have mine then am starving..
  12. Well usually after the game its not straight into a training session as it allows the management time to assess how the game went, what injuries we have etc, but yes I do agree somewhat, but how many times have people on here complained about the lack of communication by the club and then when they come up with this we still complain...the club can't win...Not sad just realistic and I quite like the manager's thoughts on the game, if they are patronising I am sure plenty on here will give the comments a good kicking on this forum. An email takes only about a half hour to compose so is in no way detrimental to the players training regime
  13. That didnt take long for the half empty brigade to spoil the thread..
  14. He' still falling off car roofs in Aberdeen
  15. To all the negative bastards on this site, heres what a Motherwell player can do on the world stage, we are no way inferior to any team, anywhere, long live the Well..GIRFUY..!!
  16. No point giving Casagolda a wage without at least giving him a good run out before we sign someone else
  17. Thanks mate, I knew we had a good few young uns coming through but didn't know how committed they were to staying and playing. I would have given everything up to run out just once in the claret and amber and its pleasing to know that there are those coming through just as committed to the future of the club.
  18. yep totally agree...am not even reading this website either..
  19. Woohoo...!! Zemamma missed penalty
  20. Seriously..!! You have no idea...?? Why don't you come down to Fir Park every Saturday morning and watch those people training the young uns.. They work bloody hard as my boy goes there every week. It is a bloody pleasure watching potential future players being put through their formative years by these guys. Not only do they train at Fir Park but most of the Leisure centre's in the community and Dalziel HS run training sessions coached by these guys throughout the week as well. I can assure you that these guys are in the heart of the community in Motherwell doing their bit as two of my sons have had the pleasure of being trained by them. Maybe you should have a closer look at the courses and see how many courses they run rather than just pulling a page out the website and questioning their professionalism.
