Aye I liked Bowman but it's not as if he didn't get a chance here. The fact he's scoring goals at a weaker level doesn't mean we were all missing something over his three seasons here or that he was ever likely to suddenly break out into a goalscoring spell, it's possible for players to improve or simply fit in better in a different environment. He tried really fucking hard and scored a screamer at Tynie but I'd be surprised if anyone seriously thinks he's a better football player than Long or Watt.

It was a year ago this weekend we beat Hearts at home and it was t-shirt weather.

Don't really buy this. We've had plenty of good atmospheres at midweek games against Aberdeen and Killie with decent away supports, it'll potentially be even better given its a Saturday night and the sense of occasion that comes with a quarter final. Aye it's definitely noticeable that all our elder statesmen are in goals or the back four and everyone else middle to front is currently at the highest level they've ever played at. Not a slight on any individuals as it's a strategy that's working so far for the most part but games like that we could have done with a Pearson or Lasley in midfield.

I wasn't at the Accies game but today was by far the worst I've seen us play this season. Middle to front was worse than the worst of the McGhee/hoofball Robinson eras and the defence were spared mainly by Gillespie.

Pretty sure I had him in my Master League team in PES 6.
