  1. Carson Tait Kipre Hartley Hammell Bigi Campbell McHugh Tanner Fisher Frear It's a tossup between Hammell and Dunne for me, but tbh the thought of Jordan Jones running at either of them gives me the fear. Bigi and Campbell should be two of a midfield three, not really bothered who accompanies them. Bowman isn't a lone striker. Fisher probably isn't either but it's worth a try.
  2. I think there's several ways to look at our form. On the one hand we've taken 4(should have been 6) from 9 against Celtic and Aberdeen, but the obvious inverse of that is 0/9 against Hibs,Ross County and Hearts. I'm nowhere near panic stations yet but a win on Wednesday would go a long way towards; a) allaying any lingering relegation fears, barring a monumental second half of the season collapse, by putting us 15 clear of 12th b) ensuring we don't rock up to Killie on 1 win in 8 c) helping us prepare for the inevitable and prove we can win without Moult
  3. Maybe Moult's injury history will be worse than thought and put other clubs off, resulting in him staying here forever and ever.
  4. Craig Gordon has gone up in my estimation after that. Big fan of players scrapping with ball boys and mascots.
  5. I have a weird feeling Aberdeen will come in for Robinson
  6. Rodgers is a fucking fraud of a manager. He's good at taking good teams and making them even better but falls to pieces the moment he doesn't have a massive financial and quality advantage over the opposition. That's why he was sacked at Liverpool, will never achieve anything of note in Europe and will never get another chance at a top English club. He's tiers below even the likes of Allardyce and Pulis.
  7. Nah it 100% happened. Brown, Sinclair and Griffiths in particular were getting pelted whenever they went near the last two sections of the East Stand.
  8. Meh. Disappointing to collapse but can't really fault anyone after an incredibly draining week.
  9. From this angle- which will have been similar to Collum's- it looks pretty clear clut. https://twitter.com/vlr/status/936275297347031041 I'm still not 100% convinced either way but I can definitely see why it was given now.
  10. Yeah I'm a tad sheepish now having seen that angle. I didn't think it was a penalty at the time- with a pretty good view from the East Stand- and I still don't, but it's more of a 60/40 decision than the 99/1 I initially thought.
  11. As angry as I am about the last few games, I think I do think the corruption/conspiracy claims are a bit far fetched. Both these penalties were given against Celtic last season.
  12. Kick them off the park, injure as many as possible and soften them up for Anderlecht.

    Celtic Motm

Cadden for looking most willing to ragdoll Collum at full time.
  14. Anyone have the Vanguard Bears spokesman's number?
  15. I think it'd be a shame to let Bigi go as a) there's obviously a player in there somewhere if somebody can coax it out of him and b) we'll likely lose at least one of Cadden and Campbell in the near future. Wonder if a six month loan might help reduce the wage bill whilst still getting him regular football.
  16. I'm going to sound like most tinpot person alive here, but I would honestly celebrate beating these cunts tonight as much as I would have winning the cup.
  17. We were the last team to beat them at Celtic Park though.
  18. There's no way this could ever come back to haunt us.
  19. It's easy to forget how much I despise Celtic when we go 9 months without playing them.
  20. I don't really have the energy to be as angry as I probably should be after that. Thought we rode our luck slightly at the start but grew into the game before halftime. Even at 1-0 we still had every chance imo. Thompson killed the game as a spectacle though.
  21. Did your granda ever get a ticket for the playoff game?
  22. I've shamelessly stolen this from either the Terrace or MFC podcasts. But last time Celtic conceded 7 in Europe they drew 2-2 against Inverness immediately after. Alex Fisher with an injury time equaliser.
  23. Reckon there's an argument for either Frear or Sid to start. If Celtic play Bitton at right back then we absolutely have to target him with pace down that wing. Not sure who would drop out in that scenario though, Tait?
