Not sure if this has been mentioned but was a tad surprised to see Zak Jules' Shrewsbury topping League One. Closer inspection reveals that they've already papped him on loan without a single appearance.

Despite being Second in the league I don't really think Aberdeen have had a particuarly great start to the season tbh. They've yet to face either of the Old Firm, St Johnstone or Hibs and have had narrow victories against 3 or 4 teams you'd expect to be fighting relegation and drew 0-0 and 1-1 against Hearts and Killie teams that we beat pretty comfortably. No reason why we can't be dreaming of Hampden with a bit of luck.

I'm wary of taking too much confidence from victories against Ross County and Hearts but this is a game we really should be winning. They might only be losing by the odd goal but this is still a Killie side who've taken 1 point from four home games, lost to Ayr United and are out of the League Cup already. We also look a much better team than the one that took 10 points off Kilmarnock last year. Taking all that into account, Motherwell 0 Kilmarnock 2.

By my reckoning our first team squad consists of - 11 Englishmen (I'm counting Dunne,Rose and Bigi as they're all either born or raised in England despite representing other countries) -7 Scots -2 Northern Irish -1 Irish -1 Frenchman -1Lithuanian I'd possibly rather we had a few more Scots but that aside, it's hardly more multicultural than most workplaces.

I think people forget that Robinson is still learning as a manager. I doubt many on here would demand a young player with less than a season under his belt to be the finished article and managers are in the same boat. Even guys like McGhee with 1000 games in management dont get their tactics spot on from the start every week, so I don't expect Robinson, with half a season at Oldham and a few months at Motherwell to either.

Honestly wouldn't blame him for wanting away based solely on that account.

I liked Lucas as a player. Injuries and inconsistency made him a pretty useless signing for us but I reckon he's got the quality to make it at this level or L1/L2 in England.
