Ricardo Vaz Te was totally out of his depth at Hibs but scored for fun in the Championship- including the playoff winner- and played regularly in the PL for West Ham and Bolton.

I can't be the only one that finds this all a little bittersweet. If we hadn't effectively thrown away the first couple of months of the season under Baraclough or went throught the awful late goals phase earlier this year then I have no doubt we'd be up there fighting for top 3.

Maybe I just find his egotism endearing, but I've never really understood why he inspires so much rage from all quarters. Whenever he takes full credit for a win or claims he should be managing a world famous team I take it with a pinch of salt and just view it as another "Oh,Mark!" moment.

I'd just try and get as close as possible to our team in November/December. Ripley, Law and Hammell all in their usual positions. Any two of McManus, Hall and Kennedy at centre back. Central midfield three of Cadden, Lasley and Pearson the Johnson on the left. Moult and McDonald up front.

Gomez is fast becoming the new Arnier. If only we still had Humphries and Vigours.

We were an an absolute trainwreck and in a far worse situation when McGhee took over and he managed to turn that around, so we know he can do it. But, for the first time this season I'm not sure that we will. Really need a result soon.
