I'm not sure where the "found his level" comments are coming from. He was a good Championship/Premiership player for County and there were never any questions about his ability. He just had terrible luck with injuries, as well as being signed by McCall,who appeared to have made scattergun signings with no intention of finding a system to suit them.

I would be very happy with Taylor, didn't score as many in his second spell at Thistle but from what I've seen his all round game and positioning has improved. Would be an improvement on Erwin imo, with pace, power, height and he's a decent finisher as well. We should be able to outbid Partick Thistle so it's just down to whether he can be swayed.

I think a lot of it is down to when you first started going to football. For me, a "proper" Motherwell kit is one of the Xara ones with a claret band, white shorts and white collar, despite the fact that that's a relatively rare combination over the last 40 years.
