  1. because these are a few of the positives, He ignores the negatives. Reminds me of the persons I dislike most of my life saying goes "Talks a good game"
  2. agree 100% wit this. Should be out the door by mid day Monday. Cue for " But who are go to get" there is another donkey in the field next to my house, might be an improvement.
  3. I thought we had given up on "foot"ball some time ago
  4. There is an answer to that. In among all the "emms" it will made out to be a win of sorts.
  5. Add the mindless striker subs and the decision to switch Casey to wing back where his mistake led to the second goal and this post says it all for me.
  6. Reward for buying a ST, most of them repeats I guess and I would agree. At the last count of WS members some 2000 had not contributed financially to the Club for many years. My opinion as WS member.
  7. Whilst I understand the reason for the headline I think the journey started before Beith. Was it Hammell when in charge of Academy said he had a future star.
  8. Most of them ae what used to be quoted as "open mouth before engaging brain". Nowadays read Keyboard. Even had one person asking if the WS was trying to takeover the club.
  9. I do not believe time is ticking for actions on investment options. Investors or I now see being referred as "Strategic Partners " is not so important as the Club management structure being resolved. In my opinion it is also more important for the investment to be correct even if it take weeks or months. We are i a reasonably sound financial situation.
  10. After reading the BBC report and I quote" prodigious teenager Lennon Miller's growing influence" how can anyone vote otherwise.😋
  11. Agree very difficult choice from the list. Some candidates made themselves known at the AGM. Others identified them selves by giving name when asking a question, Obvious to me al least that some of the candidates have already been active as volunteers on the workstreams.
  12. This topic has shown we all have opinions on reasons for non attendance so i thought I would add my tuppence worth. i am 86 years old, both myself and partner have heart issues, she is also confined to wheelchair so carer has to be available in emergency. It also means that most home tasks are mine. home for me is a 70 mile round trip to Fir Park yet at the beginning of the season I look forward to going to the football and keen to go the League Cup games. Elgin, Annan, Dumfries. Montrose just a few examples. Grounds I have never been to must be the attraction. I can drive but refrain from driving 100+ miles twice on the same day so I stay overnight or week end. i have supported Well for 75 of my 86 years and during that time I have seen some great football, ie Ancell Babes (still didn't win anything). What switches me off is the mostly crap football on show under GA and SK. Partick and RC displays have already questioned my enthusiasm for the Hearts game. Rant over
  13. All we need now is the 2 Directors on the Board supposedly to enact the interests of the WS to follow.. It is my intention to raise this at the AGM wording along the lines of support for the takeover with or without the WS view.
  14. Next weeks team sheet by numbers 1 or 13, 2, 11, 38 and others from the hat And if I was Miller I would be knocking on the door asking for a transfer. The way he is being made to play will ruin him.
  15. Agree the Society board should have a range of views but for me once making their recommendation for a rejection by a majority vote absolutely clear should not be free to back acceptance by another group.
