And the next stage is "Mind your a**e on the way out"

I know it is lower division opponents but I have to say Mugabi had a much improved performance against East fife than against QOS. He had the support of Casey and Blaney and was obviously to me al least told to do the simple thongs well ie let his back three partners make the more difficult decisions. Likewise at Elgin he had Blaney and SOD for support. With that kind of support on and off the park he may just have a future. Must say too been impressed with Blaney so far.

Any tips on where to stay overnight Saturday. Choice online very limited, either pricey I need twin beds, taking my adult grandson. So far Fochabers or Forres only choices.

Sorry my mistake its Killie that are six goal worse off.

Yes by six goals be my reckoning. Not going to happen

Pretty sure Gazzyb posted that to see what size of fish he could tempt..

Did notice when we stuck in the congestion prior to the bridge crossing that there were a few Dutch registered cars heading north. Made a comment that maybe it was KVV personal fan club over for the match. Nearly got me thrown out. Good job I wasn't the driver. On Topic cant choose between KVV and Butcher .

Has DC Comics taken over this site or is it just Louis and Grizzlyg infectious effects.

I am amazed at the number of posters on this forum who think that players at other clubs have only to be asked to join Motherwell and order a taxi before the question is completed.

And still got thrashed 6-0

A definite no. HE has not HAD problems ie past He HAS health problems. Diabetic and heart are very difficult to control in at any time more so in football. And before I am crucified by some on here I say this as a diabetic with cardiology issues. Even the rules and decisions are severe and complicated enough just going to watch a match.

If I am reading reports correctly McKinstry contract ends next June and he is unhappy with new terms offered so a successful season with us and who knows what could happen. He could be out of contract.

Damned right Weeyin, the major reason why I avoid this forum for long spells.

Admit to having doubts about an inexperienced manager. I also understand the risks of whoever is appointed experienced or not, Hammell's quotes above seem to me to be closely aligned to what most fans think. By " tweaking " does he mean signings ?. Would not have thought signings would be made under an interim manager. Seems a very tight schedule yo make an appointment.

Other possibility i have looked at is. 8 passenger 6 m. minibus hire using following criteria Departure Thurs 8am Lanark. Some flexibility. Ferry Cairnryan to Belbast 11.30 - 13.45 and onward to Sligo. 150 miles approx. +/- 3 hours Return after match catching 7.30 ferry back to Cairnryan. Cost around £95 pp, Includes passengers paying for driver. mid day ferry would cost around £25 more. Early morning journey is classed as same day and has £200 discount. costs include Lounge seats each way. Would have to add minibus hire to these costs. Enquiry made. Would any one else be interested?..

Not just curious, would like to attend match, as a poster already said if Bala, take car early Thursday 1 overnight and then next day home. Cost fuel and BB. Sligo is more complicated. Cost of fuel, one person ferry, and Wed Thurs BB is around £700 and do not fancy solo trip. From enquiries so far flights are very early morn and very late night are not an option for me due to age and health. Mid day flight lands at 14.10 so thro customs EU ????. Bus to Train station 20 minutes, Departure time train 15.00 going to be difficult to achieve. next one 16.00. 3 hours to Sligo. so about 19.10pm arrival. Far too many risks so flight for me at least would need to be Wednesday mid day.

Can I ask what plans if any the posters who are suggesting flying to to Dublin (assuming opponents are Sligo) have on the next part of the trip. Trying to weigh up the travel options.

If the Charlton v Preston game I watched is anything to go by there is a lot of dross at the top of the Championship.

Don,t know about MOM but I was impressed with our new no5 for always playing the ball out from the back. Counted only one misplaced pass.
-
Definitely need a Gorrin level player in midfield. Donnelly is not the answer. I recall seeing him for the first time against Darlington last year at RB and posting to the effect that defensively he might be better than Tait but his distribution was poor. Nothing i have seen so for has changed my opinion.
