League Cup 2017'18 Next: Celtic F (Hampden) 26/11/17 15:00

Maybe not the right place to post, however wife said last night on BBC Scotland news there was item from the Well shop with presumably Alan MacDonald carefully folding up Uncle Phils shirt and saying it gets taken every where with the team. I was not aware of that. -
Except that by purchasing shares they are not buying into WS.

Have to admit couldn't make it last night so watched it on Alba. Mousa for me fouled his way through the game, just wonder if that influenced the ref, should not have, but who knows what goes on in their heads. The pass back was not intentional. It was a loose ball that McHugh and others went for with the result a side footed kick. Could have gone any where. -

I think they all fall into that category. -
Hartley had a good game against imho a devious wee barsteward and made sure he knew early on. Dunnne for me had his best game of the season. Still needs further work o his passing tho. McHugh too i thought had his best game, possibly because it was a more defensive one. Seems a shame not to give it to a 2 goal game winner, especially the sublime second, but or me Carson was mom. What a pleasure it is to have a keeper to place our trust in. Was it Souness in his Ibrokes days that said a team with a spine of GK, CH and CF is a match for anyone. We have that AND more PS. Its ages on here since anyone mentioned Randolph

Yes we are almost on the crest of the wave. Now is the time to increase the pledges AND other contributions.

Contract has to be cancelled and therefore a free agent prior to window closing. However I did read last week, can't remember the details, of a loan being made permanent transfer in England.

Truly was an awful game.I'm sure I picked up SR comment on Radio Scotland interview on the way home as "There is never much football played at this place". Was he referring to the pitch, Hamiltons anti fooball or both. -
Thought it was til May / June 2018 ie remainder of last season plus this.

I have contacted the WS and more or less asked if as owners of the club their were party to this decision and if not why not. I await their response. I could i suppose throw my toys out the pram by cancelling my DD and buying a ST. -

Wasn't serious about bombarding Flow with complaints but wasn't joking either that it is a poor deal for those pledging WS members who are not ST holders. I agree ST holders deserve priority but surely WS members should not be lumped in with the sale to general public many of whom I suspect have never been to FP in many years. Is this the way to encourage further investment in the WS?. -

Does it really matter who the referee is?. From Saturdays display it looks like Collum, Thomson, Clancy, Madden and Beaton are the tutors at their coaching college of incompetency. -
I know what he means by the calculation!. My question is why deduct the original fee of 400k from any later fee thus reducing the add on value to us. In other words a xfer fee of £2.5m with add on of 10% is 250k AND the original 400k should not be deducted. Precisely why it is called an add on.
-
Why should the original fee whatever that was be deducted from the add on amount?. Example: Sold by well for 400k plus 10% add on. Sold later for 2m add on to well 200k deduct 400k result zero and it could be argued we owe money. On your thinking add on would need to be 40% just to break even. Tell me I am wrongly reading your post.

Mfc Podcast ‘Off-Air 3’ – 25 Greatest Mfc Post-War Players

I digress but this reminds of a story of all those years ago. I had just been demobbed from the Army before starting work. An Uncle at the time had a decorating business and a contract for Fir Park. I went along, this uncle did not appreciate Hunter and said so in front of Ancell. He replied that the problem Hunter had was like a good snooker player, he was three moves ahead of every body else in the team. This reply had a few expletives added in and boy could Ancell swear. At the time I had not even heard that amount of swear words in one sentence in the Army. -

As i've mentioned before I can go back to early 1950's, most of my top ten when given a lot of thought will probably be from the earlier period. I can think of only a few exceptions in the later period that match the Paton, Redpath, Aitken and the Ancell babes all round skill level. But then the younger element would accuse this old codger of saying everything was better in my day. -
Because Steelboy does not rate him!.

Hope he ditches the back 3 plan. Anything Tait did on Saturday could have been done as part of a back fourr -
Agree Dembele was against Stirling, but they were evenly matched at Livingston. Just shows worries should not be based on 45 minutes showing. If that was the case you should worry about McManus, he was by far the poorest of the centre backs on view over the two games.

May seem like a silly question but just for clarification. if say say you have pledged £20 for 24 mths = 480 you will qualify for the rewards in the "steel" category and the "pre steel" Answered as well. Fingers smarter than brain this morning.

What? the shy or the defending.
