Scottish Premiership Game 9: Accies (A) Saturday 14/10/17
Electric Blues replied to CoF's topic in Club Chat
That bench could give Accies a good game. -

Hopefully we'll spank Accies by 6 or 7 to nil at the weekend, and that'll motivate some more fence sitters. -

Optimism would be expecting to beat them 3 times in that week. -
Loads, all £22.50. You'll recognise me - I'll be wearing my Well Society pin badge. https://www.paviliontheatre.co.uk/shows/jerry-sadowitz-2/

If it's on the Sunday I'll need to change my travel arrangements to match, but there are worse problems to have! I've already booked tickets for Jerry Sadowitz at the Pavilion on the Saturday night, so it should be some weekend.

I signed up recently with a monthly pledge through PayPal. It took a few weeks, but I did eventually receive a professional looking welcome letter though the post with a certificate, a membership number, and a Well Society lapel pin. Would an earlier email acknowledgement have been nice too? Yes, of course it would, but it certainly isn't a deal breaker. Anyway, now that I have my membership number in my hand I must sign up for the Exiles Club. (I was hoping to get over tonight for an Aberdeen double-header, but business has sadly intervened so it looks like Celtic on 21/10 will be my first game this season.)

Never mind the bollocks - surely it's "Sid"?

Or another £100k on the price tag? Looks like he's about 40 votes behind the Lincoln boy now. We're being outplayed by League 2 here.

Scottish Premiership Game 3: Ross County (H) Saturday 19/08/17

Get fucking in! Mine's a double. -
Scottish Premiership Game 3: Ross County (H) Saturday 19/08/17

There's another first half gone by without a single shot on target. Against Ross County. At home. Surely this can't be right? -
Almost felt sorry for their keeper at the second - talk about "rooted".

Nothing will change the points and goal difference columns, granted, but getting one or two key players back who might swing the next game for us is surely worth considering. I also think you're on a sticky wicket if you expect the post mortem on a footie discussion forum not to run on a bit beyond 4:46 following a match with so many talking points.

I suspect a large factor in his decision was the wild appealing from just about every member of the Saints team, including their fucking goalie, who was only marginally further away from the incident than Thomson. The only thing that should have swayed him was his assistant's lack of action, but no, he just had to unleash his inner fud.

I think he genuinely thought he could get to the ball, or at least block it, but the panel may be sceptical about whether that was actually possible without going through the player. Whatever the outcome it was some burst of pace from the big man to get there at all - if that had been Hammy he'd have got to the bye line just as they were kicking off for the restart. -
Absolutely agree. If any member of the Well Society happens to run a micro-brewery somewhere between here and Aberdeen, I'll put my name down for that trip now.

My new away top arrived this afternoon, just in time. Great looking piece of kit. Not that I'll actually get to a game with it until later in the year, but I'll be huddled by the crackly radiogram in it tomorrow night in the hope it might finally replace my lucky match day pants from 1991. -

Hearts finish third, after a 2-2 draw. We avoid Hibs too , as they'll finish top after Ross County fail to beat Arbroath. -

No need to worry about Hearts as it stands - they're losing 2-1 to Dunfermline and are currently lying third. -
Have to confess, I've stood outside Fir Park in the pissing rain with my official autograph book, desperate for some vicarious reflected glory. Mind you, I was only six.

Beautiful from Bowman - what a difference a little bit of confidence might make. Great ball from McHugh too. -

Much better second half from both teams so far, us especially. Can't help feeling we'd have had another goal or two by now if a hungry Moult was out there. -

Surely, if we absolutely must knock aimless long balls forward, we should at least try to get them within 10 yards of a despairing team mate?
