  1. Well, that's just scuppered the mental image I had of a Bois' Away Day!
  2. You can only read so much into the BBC stats but it looks as if we were the pressing team right up until the end, which is good. I always get the total fear when we try to see out a game. Looking forward to the feedback from those who actually made it up the high road.
  3. So many great memories - but this one stands out for me...
  4. It's hardly a classic but my favourite is our first at Fir Park. That beautiful moment when the crowd realises that Bell has fluffed it and rises as one, part joy, part relief - I'll never get tired of watching that!
  5. What, Ben McGarry from Sligo Rovers?
  6. My personal favourite on RM today comes from "Redwhiteandblue". "Moshni done that without even thinking about it. It was pure instinct. He may be charged, but any good lawyer would get at worst a not proven verdict" I am willing to bet that Mr Redwhiteandblue is not actually in the legal profession.
  7. Having milked Rangers Media for all it's worth, I popped over to Kerrydale Street for a flying visit. Much as I hate seeing any Old Firm fan happy, I can't really grudge them this one, and some of the comments are proper belters. Now that's what I call GLOATING http://kerrydalestreet.co.uk/topic/9238986/1/
  8. Yeah, no harm in booting a ball between the trenches for a while. Normal hostilities can resume next season. My enemy's enemy is my friend!
  9. If we beat them 11-0 we'll still be a point behind them, and with a worse goal difference, but I'd take it. (I think it would be unrealistic to hope for a 12-0 victory. )
  10. I went for Sutton just because no-one else had so much as mentioned the poor sod's quickfire two-goal contribution as a sub fresh on the park. It is such a strange feeling to be so spoiled for choice after a match!
  11. "Heroes get remembered, but legends never die." A true inspiration for Motherwell. From almost the moment he arrived his teammates tried to emulate him, and they did not a bad job of it! As someone who witnessed his early training sessions said at the time, "It's as if skill was contagious". The years go by so fast, but the memories will never fade..
  12. Leanne be fucked, I might kiss you myself if this score holds up!
  13. Hard to disagree with this. I'd also give an honourable mention to Willie Irvine and Bruce Cleland, for season '81 - '82 alone. To say that they weren't the most technically gifted of strikers would be a vast understatement, but that was a magical season. Brian McLaughlin blasted in his share as well. RIP, Brian.
  14. I think Neil Warnock is still free - and he comes with his own ready-made nickname.
  15. The best result this Saturday is three fucking points. I fancy Erwin to get off the mark with an early brace, and Laing to score a late winner after Saints inevitably pull level .
  16. That's what happens when you spend too much time on the pitch at the expense of Remedial English.
  17. MOTM for this one should be a laugh! What are the odds it's still Dan even after a 5-0 tonking?
  18. I was at the 8-0 thumping in '79. (If memory serves, even that little shitebag Strachan scored!) We could easily be in for worse at the weekend.
  19. I think I might give these "highlights" a miss - it's not as if there's a single Motherwell shot on target in there. Having witnessed the previous 4-0 in person I genuinely thought they couldn't sink any lower. The only thing that I find hard to believe is there are two teams in the whole world worse than us, let alone that they actually happen to be in the same league. That's the only thing that might save us.
