  1. It’s a lazy question we should be beating Morton end of it’s a crossover but on the other thread ur questioning if it will dent confidence, u’d need to be super optimistic to think we’re finishing top 6 with our run in to the split
  2. I’m suggesting in my opinion both those teams would batter Morton
  3. I’m pretty sure killie & Aberdeen would have fancied themselves to beat Morton hopefully we’ll finish positive but it’s anybodies guess For me a mid table finish, run in the cup & some entertainment is a good season getting knocked out the cup by Morton. Winning 2 games in whatever period on top, it’s absolutely right people are questioning
  4. If it’s not the manager then it’s the players if we scrape 10th it’ll be a decent season ( for the record I like kettlewell but there’s no clear plan ) you’ll not get a better draw than Morton at this stage & as others have said when we’re moaning about income it’s important we progress
  5. Bit about the structure that got me….. structure disappeared ( professional footballers should be able to sort that themselves ) if they can’t then the manager should not much point in speculating if a sun keeper is good enough if we’re not going to give him a chance poor season poor recruitment Manager always goes at the end of the season on that basis
  6. Was a reply to wonder how they’ll get on in the next round whoever they get will pump them ( which shows the level we’re at )
  7. Been watching us since 1985 & not particularly reactive to results…… when u post ur best result of the season a few days before ( with some great attacking play ) to rock up & produce this is a mile out
  8. Can’t be much defence for the manager after this….. cup runs against lower league opponents are a must win for us….. Needs changed in the summer regardless of what league we’re in
  9. The reality is we won’t win a cup next season though 3 or 4th in the league isn’t unthinkable as everyone outwith the old firm is much of a muchness at least in Europe for the 2 fixtures we get we’re playing against someone different rather than the monotony of playing the same teams year in year out If we can play some good football, entertain the fans & provide value for money then that’s good enough for me
  10. 😂I don’t really comment but chat about not wanting to qualify for Europe is embarrassing it’s basically the best you can hope for as a Motherwell fan 😂
  11. Don’t really get to see us that much these days but got there yesterday, don’t think we’re a million miles away from being a decent side 1st 30 minutes thought we were class & when we knocked the ball about some of the football was superb As others have said the subs were needed, the killie goal was coming at that point but the subs never worked at all We won’t win the league….we won’t get relegated so it’s good to see an entertaining game, couple of signings in the right positions & we’ll be good great atmosphere from the well fans as well yesterday
  12. I’ve not seen us for ages but after watching this fair play to people that go every week
  13. Entertaining game. We gave as good as we got We'll be absolutely fine if we play like that all season Simple as that for me
  14. Haven't seen us at all this season before watching the game tonight so I'm not sure if I'm on the money. We didn't look too bad tonight Keepers nowhere near good enough although did pull off a couple of decent saves We need a centre mid badly Right back I'm not sure if this was a 1 off but we got tore apart down there time & time again Dom Thomas contributed absolutely nothing Centre mid, right back & a keeper & we wouldn't be a bad side based on tonight for me
  15. I was a big fan of Sutton. Patrick Thistle away last season was enough to convince me his time was up though
  16. Don't think there's any in between with McGhee. I think it's exactly what we need. My brothers raging. Either way if we see good football & win games then it's all that matters.
  17. Difficult to comment as I didn't go today. Don't think Craigan is anywhere near ready for the job yet. But I'm not sure how much blame can be put on him with today's result ( like I say I wasn't there so there could have been some baffling decisions to contradict my post ha ha )
  18. Said earlier in the thread I would take McGhee. Think he's exactly what we need just now to sort us out. Don't for one minute think there's any chance he'll ever end up Celtic manager.
  19. Great result. Cue shouts that Crags should be manager
