  1. Daily Record"BARA BLAST" So he had a shouting match in the dressing room after the game. Whereas during the game there was one guy instructing , cajoling , coaching from start to finish - Jim Duffy. That was a shameful performance on and off the park. Disjointed, disinterested and out muscled on the park. Watched by a managerial staff unwilling or incapable of adapting our shape to overcome Morton. And the tin lid on it? A game stopped while the Stewards and Police overreacted to a situation that nevertheless should not have arisen. So we can look forward to another SFA boot in the balls-perfect. Rewind to the end of May to the media love in of the Twist n Shouting Bois , now dragging the name of the club through the mute. Absolutely perfect evening all round really, so pleased I took time of work to be there. Clouds are gathering on all fronts, change is required now before a chrisis hits fully
  2. That was an accident waiting to happen. Totally rudderless performance. A formation that mystified, a starting eleven equally bewildering. Up against a committed and organised side that quite simply wanted it more than ours. We got precisely what we deserved- nothing And as for IBs post match comments- a disappointing start but we showed more what we were about later on, sweet Jesus mate, what is it that you see ? Eight league games and two Cup games in and you seem to have virtually no idea what your best starting XI is, or what formation suits best, or how to use the plethora of striking options, or how to motivate players to put in a committed performance. I think IB is utterly out of his depth,he asks that we have a go at him, not his players? Exactly what vehicle is he suggesting we use to criticise him directly. Just words mate. Empty words...
  3. Who's the lad Null Vote? Is he one of the much rumoured Dutch boys?
  4. I am the greatest of cynics , but I can see a native of these parts, having been ill and seeking to leave a legacy for the place of his birth. A man who has drilled down into every minute detail of the club and is assisting in many areas in turning it into a fit-for-purpose 21st Century business. He hasn't just lobbed money into a jar and said "I'll be back for that in 5 years, don't f#ck it up" Seemed clear the previous well - intentioned set up was an exercise in survival , minimum staff doing a huge range of tasks. Spread too thin too allow it to do anything other than scrape by, making a loss. A slow withering descent into a part time club in the lower reaches seemed almost inevitable A new plan, which will doubtless adapt ad we move along, I'll run with that Your apocalyptic forecast seems strangely bleak. So what's your Plan B?
  5. I can smell paranoia here?Is it a conspiracy ? A cunning plan based on the hordes of wealthy guys queuing up to offer a million for the club? Why wouldn't they just do that now then? Nonsense. Transparently clear Les is not looking to make money, it's philanthropy, he's looking for his capital to be returned, without interest. Talk about biting the hand that feeds. Turn your sights on the guys underperforming on the park . If they turn things round; - we climb the league - we take in transfer fees - Les gets repaid - we reinvest
  6. Nothing between the sides going by the highlights, which I presume are neutral and unbiased Robinson looked lively Moult pretty much out of things Taylor, remind me what his talent is??
  7. I'll get back to you dossertilidie. Just about to sit thriough the BBC Alba "highlights" As a precaution I have burnt my shoelaces and cut my belt into little pieces , all aspirin safely flushed Verdict to follow...
  8. So he gets the bullet , then what? New guy has absolutely no choice but to go with the same players, very limited options in Jamiary- change of loan players? Pearo and Fletcher will hopefully be back shortly and then watch the momentum build. I think all this needs to be put into perspective, calm the f ck down. 8 games in , very new squad. Vital players out injured or struggling to be fully fit, New club structure bedding I'm- So lets sack him, how very constructive ...
  9. I stayed away on account of my plastic pitch phobia. Right decision. Produces plastic fitba, I understand all the economic arguments but I'd outlaw it at senior level. Sounded like we had enough of the game to take something from it. On to Tuesfay, proper old school ground, proper pitch, proper memories of 1991 and 2005 (eat your heart out Hugo Sanchez- Stepover goal and Big Marsh penalty save.) A good going blood and snotters cup tie
  10. Marv has had back strain problems from memory. Plastic pitch isn't the surface for him, he seems a kinda fragile chap. Central three in midfield , Las sitting in front of Mick and Clubber, Grimshaw breaking the game up and playing the simple ball, Taylor milling around aimlessly in the centre circle. Moult up front with McDonald playing as a 10 Ainsworth providing the width Law and Chalmers at full backs, Hammell best left off the plastic too Accies are quite the physical side, so we need to grab the game by the haw maws from the off.
  11. He also maintains that if John Boyle had just committed another few quid it would've turned out ok. Total f cking banger of a man
  12. I think the Accies plastic pitch will rule Srevie Hammell out . I don't think he's 100% and I can't see why we should risk him. Don't see Marv being risked either, still not convinced about his fitness, still looks incapable of fully stretching his big limbs Midfield 3 would make sense to stifle Accies creativity in the middle
  13. It's a football club, not a borstal. If an 18 year old on a decent deal who's gone through the youth ranks doesn't know how to conduct himself then it's his problem. Or maybe we could get a striker and a keeper to act as his child carers. F ck that, shape up or ship out mate.
  14. Spoke to a couple of St Mirren diehards today , both thought Samson is a good keeper, steady and not prone to clangers or worldies. To be honest I think it's a sensible signing, stability and calm won't do any harm at all. Maybe Dan could try centre mid?
  15. In your face- see it from outer space ,ginger!
  16. Transfer policy? Chimpanzees Typewriters Shakespeare Simples...
  17. Taylor comfortable in a 3? No shit Sherlock. If I do a job with one guy, of course I'd look better if I get two mates to help. He'd probably look like Zidane in a four man centre mid then. No passengers please...
  18. I stand corrected, presumably, the Cobra and Crags were disciplined for flouting the rules. Especially Crags, what with his throw in leading to a goal. Can't have that sort of off the cuff nonsense breaking out, my God the flow of the game might not be broken up. The implications could be enormous
  19. Since the dawn of time the Constitution of Fir Park has stated the following-"All throw ins shall be excecuted by the left or right back, depending on which touch line the throw occurs. Furthermore, said full back will be required to stand for a minimum of thirty seconds before attempting the throw in. In addition, the remaining outfield players will be required to make no attempt whatsoever to make themselves available to receive the ball, or to make any move that opens space for a teammate to receive it" Been that way for as long as I can remember, which is from around 1970 onwards,
  20. According to Flow Kennedy missed the BWFC game with a training ground knock. Maybe just not worth risking him .Bottom line is we have had a massive squad turnover that was well overdue and expecting us to turn into the Galacticos instantly is just not realistic. I think binning Baraclough is way too premature , given that any new boss would have the same squad to work with and probably way beyond January. Let's face it , on our wages we're not going to have a Mourinho, are we?
  21. I wonder what terms the loan players arrive on, hopefully not dictating that they start if fit.
  22. We would have lost that game last season. Probably two nil, losing a second late on when chasing the game. The bench gave us options, rather than just being full of seat- warmers. An uninspired, disjointed effort though it was- we dug in and took something from it. I think Grimshaw, Robinson and the pending return of Pearson will move us on
  23. Not sure about the dogshit analogy . In my experience dogshit is always all over the park- which Mr Taylor plainly isn't ...
