Doubordeaux ? Buzz Smith? Stevie Woods? Barry John Corr? Short memory ? -
Thomas???Let himself down , on with a whole pram full of toys. If he wants to progress he needs to learn to deal with the physical challenge of the game. Did nothing but moan about being tackled . Needs to button it and let his obviously talented feet do his talking for him .

Nobody looked for the ball from hand from Ripley.County were cute enough to restrict that option. Need to see the goal again but I think someone (Mick?) fell on his arse and we just didn't clear. You looking for someone to blame for today? Ripleys not your man -
Moult for me He scored No one else did anything notable

And Lasley, Taylor and McDonald should be making themselves available for Mick. Not hiding or passing it back to Mick, Clubber and Ripley. Utter rubbish on the middle of the park, no creativity whatsoever. Grimshaw looked head and shoulders better in his brief appearance .Thomas was like a petulant child, bleating for free kicks every time he was challenged. Contributed nothing whatsoever, should've been hooked very early. His ineptitude left Hammell exposed,( not that he had much of a game either) Mind you, given that Law , Lasley and Taylor were invisible - and Thomas, Hammell, McManus, Laing and McDonald were out of form- maybe we should be delighted at scraping a point -

On a positive note Grimshaw looked alert positive and composed from the second he came on. That was the positive, the negatives were too many and varied to start now. In summary , we were at home, we stole a point. At home. In injury time. Last season we would have lost, two nil. Small mercies... -

The difference between Big Handsome up front and this seasons strikers is that we can dispense with the aimless lump up the park for JS to fail to ever knock down or hold up and lay off. Instead we've got Moult Robinson or Fletcher who are all mobile and happy to run the channels or look to play on the centre halfs shoulder and look for the ball over the top to run on to. Much has been lauded about the wide men but for me we don't play through the middle nearly often enough. One winger at a time for me, will give us the option to flood the central midfield -

8 Subs? A bench?Or is this a U Boat fleet? -
His entire career highlight at FP was his 50-50 against Levante , where he almost burst the ball AND absolutely ruined their guy. Sadly that was about it, fans of the clubs he was loaned out to thought he was utter gash too

I think Grimshaw will buy us breathing space to allow Pearo to be fully recovered. No sense in him being forced back too early . He's not likely to take it easy on the park, not his style. In the words of Dave Bassett, I'd go "FOUR FOUR F CKING TWO" Ainsworth and Thomas flanking Las and Grimshaw Up front McDonald and Moult, although I wouldn't say no to Robinson be Moult either. We're at home and I think we need to offer a threat up front. -

Taylor instead of McDonald? Brave or foolhardyI would agree about Moult, to run himself into the ground for an hour , then unleash Robinson -
that was another miserable walk home from Hampden, ironically with my son who was the age I was back on the Rangers Semi days. Not a word spoken, at lease I can feel responsible for proudly raising another WeegieDosser who was obviously feeling all the same pain as I was.
-
We were at the back of the Celtic (uncovered) end pissing rain all night. I lived 20 minutes up the road from Hampden, can still remember the walk home, absolutely devastated at the robbery we had just suffered. Then the pain of school with all the gloating h**s the next day. 1976, my 2nd year at Secondary school, can remember it like it was yesterday...

Airdrie - Stuart Rennie penalised for exceeding the four step rule, that put us out. Only time I EVER saw that rule enforced.Rangers- Penalty given for "foul" outside the box on fat Derek Johnstone, referee was about 70 yards away Still livid,

Kia-Oras unmistakably plastic taste, washing down the cardboard flavour Chipmunk crisps- a folk think the chicken curry pies are bad these days? 70s catering- all part of the match day experience- topped off with getting a hard time off the OF Orcs on the train back to Weegieville. Funny thing is , those were far more enjoyable times, maybe just nostalgia taking over
-
Geezer wandering round trackside with a cardboard box "Erz yir macaroon and yir spearmint chewin' gum!!" (PK or Arrowmint, if memory serves me correctly) Quality catering Pies seemed to be floating with grease too, I'm sure that's what scarves were for, grease catching!
-
Splendid toilet facilities - three sided "room" four foot high walls no roof , concrete floor with a drain for the pish . On the plus side you could shout up to the top of the terracing to keep up with the score. Funny thing is I'm practically sitting on top of the very site of it in the Cooper every week!

Shame there wasn't a better turnout Like the look of Grimshaw- echoes of Jenno, fingers crossed In other matters, Faddy looks like a man going through the motions of things he used to do, but can't any more- sad to see Clarky, equally sad , looks horribly slow and ponderous- The White Pelé looked only marginally less mobile#actuallegend Reid looked rusty at RB , replaced by the young lad McMillan who looked lively and desperate to get on the overlap Robinson- sharper but isolated Taylor- bit more involved but still don't see what his strengths are Marv - very sporadic , don't suppose he'd any reason to burst his arse in a friendly but he just doesn't look to have the belief that he can beat his man often enough( shades of ZFA, dare I suggest) Nice sunny day, just rather ininspiring all round

Can he play right back

A lifetime ago, no fence , no segregation _ wee wander from behind one goal to the other at half time. Then the fence- still remember the musical ring of the coins hitting off the cage wire, (particularly when our Gorgie friends visited ,strangely)Nostalgia ain't what it used to be.More power to the Bois, basically to anything that encourages atmosphere and crowds
-
Nothing but admiration for the Bois Next generation and all that, maintaining the blood supply of the club I've been coming to games since 1970 its great to see a core support evolving Different times to, still miss the cultural highs of taking a cargo into a game . Or the fine art of opening empty beer cans with a two Bob bit to facilitate pissing without the risk of involuntary circumcision. Don't miss wondering why the "rain" was warm and golden. Still available at T in the Park apparently though Evolution , not revolution

Right winger?
-
Dutch guys?Heard Hertz van Rental is available on a short term deal. Plenty of drive too...
-
Seems like a sensible signing . Happy it's a loan too. I'm still concerned about the wage bill. Man U youth captain isn't too shabby on anyone's CV either
-
Just signed for Killie
