McHugh by a country mile, absolutely strolled it. Pass marks all round. Fitness Pressing Passing Anyone would think there was a distinct style of playing being introduced. Whatever next?...

We were playing an amateur team full of new faces, and very light on training preparation. Tait and Cadden have hardly played together since Tait's injury. Tait had a few decent deliveries on Saturday, I can see promise on that wing with Cadden -
If you throw in a decent fee for someone in January with a nicely scouted replacement to perk things up will do me nicely. If we can do that I'll leave asking for steak pies that don't stick to the foil for another season. Would be nice to shoot for the skies but I think it's incremental and sustainable improvement we need.

And the scoreboard has officially been declared dead, after a lengthy illness. It's last remaining lights have finally gone out. Let's take a moment to appreciate the messages, both happy and sad, it has delivered over the years. The challenge of trying to decipher the team line-ups will be sorely missed...

All the very best to Faddy. Whatever he does next good luck to him.
-
Good luck to Lionel, absolutely unplayable on his day- just wasn't his day often enough. Superb striker of the ball too. If he'd been consistent we'd never have got him in the first place. Great memories, great goals. The revolution continues

Maybe they could use the season ticket money to...Hang on, wasn't that on the news recently?
-
Ill considered action, if vaguely understandable.Arguably Faddy was more out of order, emotional though his potential last goal for us. Just smacked of end of season lack of professionalism- as opposed to early or mid-season lack of professionalism. We've had all three. At least Robinson doesn't sound as if sentiment will allow his heart to rule his head.

McHugh for me, Big Ben a close second. Special mention to the ball, for surviving such a total kicking for 90 minutes...

Well I can't wait to be ushered to my seat by my own personal steward. I may purchase a snack and a refreshment at the interval, perhaps even hire the opera glasses. Those chaps certainly know how to put on a show... -

Jules sold the jerseys, absolutely basic error. Would Ferguson have done better, probably. Was bringing Clay on for Campbell a positive, attack move, no. Did Lionel give 100% no Was Skippy playing too deep to do any damage, yes Was Louis injured/ill / tired, he was barely filling a jersey today Did County let Henegan have the ball all day, safe in the knowledge he couldn't pass productively to save himself- yes We just calmly plodded toward the precipice. Overwhelming feel at the end was one of passive acceptance, on and off the field . Not Good Enough Made in Motherwell? What was? Apathy? -
Prof Brian Cox £22-45 Steps £70 Celine Dion £155 Iron Maiden £50-65 I Love the 90s £40 Lady Antebellum £32-44 John Bishop £29-45 Mogwai £37 Don't know about definite starters, but it looks like a decent bench...

Or perhaps ask Specsavers to throw in a few eye tests as part of their sponsorship deal. Technology = expenditure Maybe Scottish football could start with a bit more distribution of help to the clubs that haven't got a pot to piss in... "Let them eat cake" ideas don't help basic survival -

I don't hear any laughing Just a clock ticking Hope someone has set an alarm -
EffortConcentration Decision making These are down to the players, not the manager. Any formation will fail without these. It's not his team talks that will turn things round sadly, just the cold reality of the shit we are in

Torture today, I'm on holiday up north and not back til Monday. Went to Nairn County v Brora Rangers cup game. Listened to us on MixLR. Just nothing to indicate we raised our game at all, no momentum. Strangely enough, I watched the first half while chatting to none other than Richie Foran. Even he wanted us to win, very subdued mood but good craic. Had a lot of time for him as a 'Well player. If anyone gives a f ck, Brora won 3-1. Decent side, good movement control and finishing, and managed by Ross Tokely! -
Esteban Casagolda- with a name like that I can't believe he wasn't a giant on the International stage- Mind you, Roberto Martinez flamenco dancing substitute warm-ups flattered to deceive too
