Frankly I'm glad of a bit of movement, gives us some definite funds to factor into signing plans. Fair play to Ben Hall for taking a chance but I think he's got ahead of himself and would have reaped the benefits of another season with us.

I think you're massively underestimating the value of McManus in coaching Laing/ Kennedy/Hall through games. Hall looked much less of a player in the 20s final. McManus has his faults but his experience in not diving in and making forwards decisions limited has been notable. I would keep him , no question . Two young centre backs is far too risky.
